Warner Bros. Consumer Products is heading to Licensing Expo 2015 next week, and it will showcase a lot of DC Entertainment goodies. The event will be showcasing merch from next year’s two DC movies, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad. The former is going all out in merch; everything from action figures and LEGO sets to costumes and apparel is being produced. As for Suicide Squad, there will mostly be merch for adult fans and collectors. Also being showcased at the Expo are the “DC Super Hero Girls” line, Batman Unlimited, video games LEGO Dimensions and Batman: Arkham Knight, current and future DC television shows, and more.…

Lexi Alexander is no stranger to superheroes.  The Green Street Hooligans writer and director is perhaps best known in comic circles for her film Punisher: War Zone.  She has also spent much of 2015 being rumored to be attached to upcoming DC and Marvel movies, specifically Wonder Woman and Captain Marvel.  She has also been seen on social media touting the need for female film directors this year. While she may not be directing films for DC or Marvel just yet she will be directing in the DC Universe this fall. As Dr. Martin Stein on The Flash, veteran actor Victor Garber has quickly become a fan-favorite.  As season two of The Flash and the upcoming spinoff Legends of Tomorrow go into production The Hollywood Reporter talked with the actor about his role on both series. With Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles season one set to debut next week, Machinima has released a first-look trailer. The series is a companion to next month’s Justice League: Gods and Monsters animated movie, and it explores Bruce Timm’s stunning new take on the DC Universe. Despite mixed reception from fans, Gotham became a hit when it premiered last fall. The Batman prequel series quickly spawned a second season renewal, promising further expansion of this world. And now, we know when you can own the first season on home video. Warner Bros. has announced that Gotham: The Complete First Season will be released on Blu-Ray and DVD on September 8th this year. The second season will likely premiere later that month, so this is perfect timing for those who need to catch up. Colleen Atwood is an Oscar Award winning costume designer but in the last few years she’s been knee-deep in DC Comics costumes.  She has been a driving force for costumes for the DCCW-Universe since the Arrow premiere and she recently spoke with Variety to discuss the process of creating the perfect Superhero costume. It was reported a couple months ago that Furious 7 director James Wan was circling the job of helming 2018’s Aquaman for Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment. Well, the studio has now officially announced that Wan has closed his deal, and he will be bringing Aquaman and the rest of Atlantis to life on the big screen. Wan will oversee the script, which is written by Kurt Johnstad. The 300 scribe was writing one of the Aquaman drafts, alongside competing scripts by Will Beall and Jeff Nichols. The Hollywood Reporter recently spoke with Warner Bros. film executive Greg Silverman, and in a lengthy interview, he discussed the studio’s upcoming movie plans, including the DC Cinematic Universe. One things fans have discussed frequently is how these films will differ from Marvel Studios’. Infinite Crisis, the officially licensed MOBA “Multiplayer Online Battle Arena” from DC and Turbine Incorporated was launched last March.  In the spirit of games like “League of Legends” and “Dota 2,” Infinite Crisis allowed players to battle with and against their favorite DC Characters and collect other versions of them.
