New BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT Character Posters
Rocksteady Studio’s has released three new ‘Batman: Arkham Knight’ character posters featuring some of Batman’s closest allies; Nightwing, Robin, and Catwoman. They have also released four villain character posters including; Two-Face, Harley Quinn, Poison Ivy, and The Riddler. “In the epic conclusion to the Arkham series, Batman faces the ultimate threat. The Scarecrow returns with the a plan that unites notable villains including The Penguin, Harley Quinn, and an all new enemy, The Arkham Knight. JUSTICE LEAGUE: GODS AND MONSTERS CHRONICLES Episode One Introduces A New Batman
In anticipation of July 28th’s Justice League: Gods and Monsters, Warner and DC are releasing a web-series entitled “Justice League: Gods and Monsters Chronicles” a series of shorts designed to introduce this re-imagined Trinity of Batman, Superman and Wonder Woman. Warner Bros. and DC Entertainment Will Reportedly Have “Significant” Presence at San Diego Comic-Con 2015
Fans have widely expected that Warner Bros. will showcase something DC movie related at San Diego Comic-Con next month. Presumably, the studio would bring its 2016 films, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice and Suicide Squad, showcasing footage and likely cast presentations for both. But now, a new report reveals that these two movies will indeed be present, and possibly more. Deadline has posted an article reaffirming that Marvel Studios will not return to Hall H at SDCC this year. JAKKS Pacific Announces Licensing Deal to Produce BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Toys
Last week, we received our first official news on the merchandise and toys that will be made to promote Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. A movie of this stature would obviously go all in with its merch. Companies such as LEGO, Mattel and Movie Masters are releasing products based on the DC Comics epic. With Batman: Arkham Knight just 16 days away, Rocksteady has released two new gameplay trailers. The first is a ‘Harley Quinn’ trailer, giving us a glimpse of her fighting style, “detective mode” and stealth takedowns. Harley Quinn is available as a pre-order bonus. The second is a trailer for ‘The Red Hood’. It features his stealth and fighting style, while showing some of his “Kill” Takedowns. SANDMAN Progress Report and The End of CONSTANTINE
Joseph Gordon-Levitt was at Spike’s “Guys’ Choice Awards” on June 6th and spoke with a reporter from Mtv about the Sandman movie. Gordon-Levitt is hard at work on the adaptation of Neil Gaiman’s Vertigo series as writer and producer and potentially director as well. Warner Bros. Consumer Products Teases BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Merchandise; New Look at the Batmobile
It was announced yesterday that Warner Bros. will be bringing Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice to Licensing Expo 2015 next week, promising a thorough roll-out of merchandising for the film. To celebrate the event, LicensingMag spoke with Warner Bros, Consumer Products president and exec. vice president, Brad Globe and Karen McTier. The magazine features an image of them alongside the Batmobile from the film. The duo discussed collaborating with various companies to produce merchandise, including DC Entertainment. At a signing for the just released Batman: Earth One vol 2, DC Comics CCO and writer Geoff Johns had a chance to discuss the recent reaction to the teaser for Supergirl.
