While many comic book fans have unfairly criticized Gal Gadot’s body shape when she was cast as Wonder Woman, the actress has since confirmed that she’s undergoing a rigorous training regime for the role. It appears that Gym Jones founder Mark Twight – who has trained actors for 300 and Man of Steel – is re-teaming with director Zack Snyder for Batman vs. Superman, and will help get Gadot into the right physique. Twight recently tweeted the following image, saying that it was going to be his “neighborhood” for a while. ARROW: Barry Allen’s Accident Will Impact Oliver And Felicity In Mid-Season Premiere
It appears that Barry Allen’s (Grant Gustin) Flash-y accident will indeed have an impact on next week’s Arrow mid-season premiere. According to TV Guide, we will find out what happens to Allen following his being struck by lightning, causing Felicity (Emily Bett Rickards) to leave Starling City – right when Oliver (Stephen Amell) needs her most. We finally have an update on Fox’s upcoming Gotham pilot, which focuses on a younger Detective James Gordon working within the Gotham City PD. According to Deadline, Danny Cannon – known for helming pilots for CSI and Nikita as well as Sylvester Stallone’s Judge Dredd – has been hired to direct and executive produce this pilot. Rome‘s Bruno Heller is writing and executive producing. The pilot is expected to be ordered to series, as it is a priority for the network. Batman and Superman will finally get their live action theatrical debut in next year’s Batman vs. Superman, but before that, the two heroes will share the big screen in The LEGO Movie. In the animated film – which also features Wonder Woman (Cobie Smulders) and Green Lantern (Jonah Hill) – the Dark Knight is voiced by Will Arnett, while Channing Tatum is playing the Man of Steel. Warner Bros. has released the first clip from the upcoming animated movie Justice League: War, which is based on the New 52 “Origin” arc. The story sees the formation of the Justice League, as a group of heroes unite to take on Darkseid (Steve Blum) and his Parademon army. In the clip, Green Lantern (Justin Kirk) battles a Parademon, with the latter having the upper hand until Batman (Jason O’Mara) intervenes. Via @SuperPRGuy, the latest image from the New 52 adaptation features Batman (Jason O’Mara) holding Hal Jordan’s (Justin Kirk) Green Lantern ring. These two characters are the first to team up in Geoff Johns and Jim Lee’s “Origin” Justice League arc, which is the basis of this movie’s plot.
