In the pilot – which will likely premiere next fall if ordered to series – Barry Allen (Grant Gustin) is taken in by Iris’ father, Detective West, after his mother’s murder and father’s imprisonment. Barry has developed strong feelings for Iris, but she is not aware of them. With production set to begin next month, we have a couple of updates for Batman vs. Superman‘s pre-production. First up, according to CBS Detroit, the Man of Steel follow-up will invest $131M in filming in Michigan. Keep in mind that this isn’t the complete budget, just the amount that will be used in production in this area. As expected, this will create hundreds of jobs for crew members and about 6,000 for extras. And as previously reported, the movie will be the biggest ever filmed in Michigan, surpassing Oz: The Great and Powerful‘s 2011 shoot. The official Facebook page for the Batman: Arkham video game franchise teased a New Year’s Day announcement last week. Many believed that a story DLC for the current title, Arkham Origins, would be announced, while others speculated that another game would be unveiled. Now, the former has been confirmed for a 2014 release. The Facebook page announced the news along with the following image, as well as the promise of more details to come soon.
