Damon Lindelof’s WATCHMEN is Getting a Pilot Order
Alan Moore’s Watchmen is once again looking to be adapted, this time by Damon Lindelof. The Hollywood Reporter reports that HBO has ordered a pilot for the Lindelof project. The deal with HBO will also commission additional scripts for a potential series order. If the Lindelof project makes it before cameras, it will be the second adaptation of the beloved graphic novel after Zack Snyder’s 2009 film. Reviews were generally mixed for that film, with some reviewers considering the narrative to be too dense for a feature film. In an exclusive from That Hashtag Show, they revealed a casting call snippet showing that the new show’s Big Bad™ will be Acolyte. The Acolyte – Male. African-American 40-50. Confident. The villain of our story. He is after Rachel and her powers, trying to kidnap her after he murders her mother. DAREDEVIL Season 3 Will Reportedly Begin Production in October
Netflix renewed Marvel’s Daredevil for a third season last year, shortly after the premiere of its second season. Since then, we’ve heard little about the Man Without Fear’s next standalone adventure, following this week’s crossover miniseries The Defenders. Now, we may know when the season starts shooting. According to MCU Exchange, Daredevil season three will begin production in October, specifically during the later weeks. This goes along with star Charlie Cox’s past comments about filming later this year.
