We’re about a month and a half away from the release of Sony and Marvel’s Spider-Man: Homecoming, and the film’s marketing campaign is fully under way. Today, Empire Magazine has revealed the cover for the latest issue, featuring everyone’s favorite webhead. On this cover, Spidey’s wearing a pair of headphones while riding on top of the subway train. Oh, and the Avengers Tower is in the background, in case you forgot that this movie takes place in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. Earlier today, it was confirmed that a direct sequel to 2013’s LEGO Marvel Super Heroes video game is in the works. While we wait for the full trailer next week, Warner Bros. Interactive Entertainment has confirmed many details regarding the game. LEGO Marvel Super Heroes 2 will hit stores on November 14th, 2017. It will be available on PlayStation 4, Xbox One, and PC. Additionally, it will be released for Nintendo Switch closer to the holiday season. The game contains an original storyline, as Marvel heroes and villains from multiple timelines and realities come together to face Kang the Conqueror. During the MTV Movie Awards tonight, Marvel and Sony premiered the first clip from this summer’s highly anticipated blockbuster Spider-Man: Homecoming. The clip consists of a scene that we’ve seen glimpses of in both trailers: Peter sneaks into his room wearing the Spider-Man suit, his friend Ned sees him, and boom, secret’s out. It’s a fun little clip, showing off some humor and interactions between the two characters. Injustice 2 has created a star-studded line roster. I’m pretty sure most fans have been happy with the characters they selected (except the one’s that are dead. RIP Nightwing). But there are two characters fans have been begging for, Red Hood and Starfire. The Outlaws have been confirmed as the characters in Fighter Pack 1, with many more to come. Back in March, we were treated to one last ride with Hugh Jackman as The Wolverine with Logan. The film was met with both critical and audience acclaim and made a nice profit garnering $607M worldwide off a $97M budget. Now that two months have passed, the film has left most theaters.
