To celebrate, Warner Bros. has launched a Facebook page for “DC Films,” including a logo and concept art of the Justice League. With Batman: Bad Blood about to be released, DC Entertainment has given a first glimpse at its next animated venture. Justice League vs. Teen Titans, the third Justice League title in the New 52-inspired series, introduces the Teen Titans into this line of films. Today, Warner Bros. and WaterTower Music have announced the soundtrack release for the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice score, composed by Hans Zimmer and Junkie XL. The soundtrack is set to be released on March 18th, one week before the film’s release. It will be available digitally, on CD, deluxe 2-CD set, digital deluxe edition, and a limited edition 3-disc vinyl set. Warner Bros.’ Wonder Woman movie has been shooting in the UK for a couple months now. However, the highly anticipated superhero film has now cast a prominent role – Diana Prince’s mother, Queen Hippolyta. And no, it’s not Robin Wright. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gladiator actress Connie Nielsen will play Hippolyta in Wonder Woman. Hippolyta is the Queen of Themiscyra and her people, the Amazons. This will mark Nielsen’s first comic book movie role; however, back in 2011, she was rumored for the role of Superman’s mother, Lara, in Man of Steel. A while back, it was rumored that Warner Bros. was in early development on a Legion of Superheroes movie, based on DC Comics’ futuristic team of the same name. Funko has had much success with its subscription box services, such as the Marvel-themed “Collector Corps” and the Star Wars-themed “Smuggler’s Bounty.” Now, the company has announced that it is exploring the DC Universe with another series. Titled “Legion of Collectors,” this subscription box service will collect exclusive DC-themed products by Funko. The theme for the first box, which is out in March, is the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice feature film. The box will cost $25, and a new box will be released every other month. It was recently confirmed that NBC has ordered a pilot for Powerless, a workplace company set in the DC Universe. The potential series would focus on a group of ordinary humans, who work in an insurance company, and their perspective on the heroes of this world. DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will focus heavily on time travel, with the group of heroes and villains exploring different areas of time, past and future. One of these time periods will be the Old West, and while the team is there, it looks like they’ll be meeting a recognizable DC character: Jonah Hex. Marc Guggenheim confirms to Variety that Jonah Hex will be coming to DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. While the role has yet to be cast, the character will first appear in episode eleven of the show.
