At the end of Arrow season three, a new enemy was teased for season four: Damien Darhk, a rival of the now deceased Ra’s al Ghul. The character is the leader of HIVE, an organization teased throughout the series that will finally take center stage in its fourth season. A couple weeks ago, it was rumored that Ben Affleck was directing and starring in a standalone Batman film, which would be written by Chris Terrio. Some have speculated that the movie, allegedly titled The Batman, would be announced at Warner Bros.’ San Diego Comic-Con panel this weekend. After appearing at last year’s San Diego Comic-Con, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice stars Ben Affleck and Henry Cavill will return to Hall H on Saturday to promote the movie. This panel is inarguably the most highly anticipated one of the year. However, it looks like it won’t be the only place at the convention where the two will be. Deadline has learned that Affleck and Cavill will be at the DC Entertainment booth on the convention floor to sign autographs for fans. Jada Pinkett Smith recently played Fish Mooney in season one of Gotham. The polarizing villain was seemingly killed off in the season finale, with Smith confirming that she would not return for season two…yet. Regardless, the actress is now interested in playing another DC Universe character. This time, we have photos of Batman’s armored mech suit from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which was on display along with the rest of the film’s Trinity costumes. We’ve seen plenty of merch and toys for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice recently, ahead of its highly anticipated San Diego Comic-Con panel on Saturday. Now, with Previews Night of the convention occurring last night, we have first looks at even more action figures. On display were a bunch of Mattel’s upcoming figures, which include Superman, Wonder Woman and Batman’s two suits. There are also toy versions of the Batmobile and the Batwing, as well as a Batman mask, a blaster gun, and another look at the Wonder Woman Barbie doll. San Diego Comic-Con 2015 officially opened last night with Previews Night, and a bunch of merchandise, costumes and more were on display. The CW showcased costumes from both The Flash and Arrow, but one suit for the latter is particularly interesting. The Flash costume was on display, with one noticeable change: the emblem is now white, instead of red. This may indicate that this suit, now a little more faithful to the comic book version, will be Barry Allen’s new look for season two. We’ve seen quite a bit of merchandise for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice recently, from Barbie dolls to Hot Wheels toys to LEGO sets. Today, DC Entertainment has revealed three statues inspired by the film, and they look terrific. Via Yahoo!, DC will produce three collectible statues. There’s one of Superman, as well as two of Batman: one in his classic costume, and one in his mech suit that he wears in his fight with Superman.
