Earlier this year, The LEGO Movie directors Chris Miller and Phil Lord signed on to write the story treatment for Warner Bros.’ The Flash film, which will star Ezra Miller as (presumably) Barry Allen. The studio was also interested in hiring the duo to direct the DC adaptation, which is set for a March 23rd, 2018 release. Miller and Lord have been very busy, with projects such as The Last Man on Earth television series, 23 Jump Street and an animated Spider-Man movie on their slate. Last week, Entertainment Weekly debuted a bunch of still images from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, to accompany the film’s presence on the San Diego Comic-Con 2015 cover. Now, Warner Bros. has officially released these images in high quality and without watermarks, offering a clearer look at their contents. Following the stellar debut season of The Flash, anticipation is high for its second season, especially after the last episode’s stunning cliffhanger. Season two is expected to introduce more of Flash’s iconic villains, as well as new Speedsters.
