SHAZAM! Movie Casts Actress Marta Milans
We’re just weeks away from the start of production on New Line Cinema’s Shazam!, the next installment of DC Films’ shared universe. The movie has been casting its characters for the last few months, and today, we have more news. According to Deadline, Asher and No Tomorrow actress Marta Milans has joined the Shazam! cast. She will play one of the foster parents at the home where Billy Batson lives. Cooper Andrews was previously cast as the other foster parent. Director Josh Boone Calls THE NEW MUTANTS the "Hardest" PG-13 Movie Ever
Fox’s The New Mutants was originally set to come out this April, but recently, the studio suddenly delayed the film to February 22nd, 2019. There have been conflicting reports as to why the delay. Some say Fox wants to up the ante with the horror tone and scares, while others say they want to give it a lighter tone. According to EW.com, Kid Flash is going to become a permanent member of the Waverider team. There was some speculation he would be joining the team, with Wally West leaving Team Flash in order to find his place in the world after Barry returned from the speed force in The Flash season 4 premiere. SUICIDE SQUAD: HELL TO PAY Release Date and Bonus Features Confirmed
This week, we saw the trailer for DC’s next animated title, Suicide Squad: Hell to Pay. Now, we know when fans can get their copy of the movie. Ron Cephas Jones in Talks to Play the Wizard in SHAZAM
We’re a few weeks away from the start of production on DC’s next film, Shazam. However, casting is still underway, and today we have some news. According to The Wrap, actor Ron Cephas Jones is in talks to play the Wizard in Shazam. In the comics, the Wizard is the one who gives Billy Batson the powers to become a superhero. Jones is known for his theater work, along with roles in television shows like This is Us and Luke Cage. With production beginning within the next month or so, we can expect more news to come soon. JUSTICE LEAGUE Blu-Ray Details Announced, Featuring Bonus Scenes and More
Warner Bros. has formally announced when DC’s Justice League is coming to home video. The superhero ensemble will hit digital stores on Tuesday, February 13th, with the Blu-Ray, DVD and 4K releases coming on Tuesday, March 13th. The Blu-Ray will be packed with special features, such as scene studies and BTS footage. There will also be the reported bonus scenes (plural this time), which will seemingly focus on Superman.
