Marc Guggenheim Teases Supergirl’s Role in The CW’s Four-Show DC Crossover
Now that Supergirl has moved from CBS to The CW, it’s easier to cross over with the latter network’s DC shows. The CW previously confirmed that Supergirl, The Flash, Arrow and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow will have an epic crossover event this fall. It is expected to be told in three episodes of Flash, Arrow and Legends. So, how will Supergirl fit in? First Official Look at Superman in New SUPERGIRL Promo Image
After teasing him throughout the first season, Supergirl will finally introduce Superman in the flesh next season. Tyler Hoechlin will play Clark Kent/Superman in the season’s first two episodes. And now, we have a first look at television’s new Man of Steel. The CW (via DC Comics) has released a new Supergirl promo image, featuring Kara standing alongside her cousin. The highly controversial animated film, Batman: The Killing Joke, is now available for digital download. On Monday night, the adaptation screened in 1,325 theaters. An encore presentation was shown in 810 theaters on Tuesday night. Now, the box office total for the limited run is in. According to The Hollywood Reporter, The Killing Joke grossed an impressive $3.8 million during its two-night theatrical run. It was the third highest grossing film domestically on Monday, with $3.2 million. Jeff Brown, Warner Bros. Hot Toys is known for creating high quality collectible figures based on film and television characters. These figures, while very pricey, are full of detail and accuracy. The latest film to get the Hot Toys treatment is DC’s Suicide Squad, which finally hits theaters next week. Today, we have our first look at three figures from this line. ARROW’s Katie Cassidy Will Serve as a Series Regular on All of The CW’s DC Shows
Last season on Arrow, Laurel Lance/Black Canary was killed by Damien Darhk. The decision spawned much outrage on social media, with many criticizing the waste of a beloved character. (I personally was not fond of the idea.) However, despite her death, we’ll still be seeing plenty of Laurel in the Arrowverse. It was announced at San Diego Comic-Con (via TV Line) that actress Katie Cassidy has signed a new deal, allowing her to be a series regular across all of The CW’s DC shows.
