THEORY: The REAL Big Bad of the DCEU Has Been Hiding Under Our Noses
It appears that Zack Snyder is back at it again with ruining everyone’s childhood. Not only did he release the movie version of having explosive diarrhea after a night out at Applebee’s, but he had the brilliant idea of releasing a more extended version of this disaster (now with corn). Of course I’m talking about Batmeh v Supermeh: Yawn of I’m Gonna Kill Myself. We’ve already talked about the theory that Snyder could potentially be a Marvel spy, but what’s the next step? What exactly is happening with the DCEU moving forward? Well, it’s quite obvious. Warner Bros. is not aware of the fact that Snyder is a Marvel…

Review: JUSTICE LEAGUE: CRISIS ON TWO EARTHS
In a parallel Earth ruled by the Crime Syndicate, the Justice League must fight their evil doppelgangers in a battle that would be dead even, except that their malicious counterparts are willing to do the one thing Batman and Superman never would: kill. The Multiverse is arguably one of the greatest concepts in DC Comics history. An infinite number of Earths, each offering its own twists on the same group of people, events and more. DC Entertainment tackled the Multiverse head-on with 2010’s animated feature Justice League: Crisis on Two Earths. In this film, the Justice League meets the Crime Syndicate, a team from an alternate Earth who serves as…

Latest SUICIDE SQUAD Tracking Predicts an Even Higher Opening Weekend
A few weeks ago, initial tracking for Suicide Squad suggested that the film was on course for a $125 million+ opening weekend. This would give it the highest August opening in history. Now, with the film hitting theaters this weekend, some updated tracking suggests that an even bigger debut is imminent. According to The Wrap, Suicide Squad is now on track to earn somewhere between $130 million and $140 million this weekend. It could even beat Finding Dory‘s $135 million debut, which would give the DC movie the third highest opening weekend of the year. But in the possibility that Suicide Squad does not pass Dory, then it’ll have to…

FEATURE: Ten Villains Who Should Join The DCEU
1. Catwoman One of Batman’s earliest adversaries and certainly one of his most well known, cat-burglar Selina Kyle/Catwoman is particularly noteworthy for doubling as Bruce Wayne’s most consistent love interest. The character has featured in both previous Batman film series, specifically appearing in Batman Returns (portrayed by Michelle Pfeiffer) and The Dark Knight Rises (portrayed by Anne Hathaway). Catwoman being absent from the DCEU would be a very odd and disappointing exclusion, so hopefully Ben Affleck & Geoff Johns can find some place for her in the upcoming Batman solo film. Who Should Play Her: Rebecca Hall Aside from what a pleasure it would be to see Affleck share an onscreen reunion with…

Jared Leto Talks Joker’s Future, Wants to Appear in Ben Affleck’s BATMAN Film
Jared Leto’s Joker makes his debut in Suicide Squad, which finally hits theaters next Friday. Afterwards, the Clown Prince of Crime is expected to pop up again in the DC Extended Universe. Leto presumably signed a multi-picture contract, which is what caused Ryan Gosling to turn this role down. Now, the Oscar winner weighs in on his future as The Joker. Speaking with Toronto Sun, Leto expresses interest in playing Joker again. He hopes that Suicide Squad will serve as an introduction to the character. “…I could easily just play the Joker a couple more times and then retire. Because it’s so fulfilling and so creative and it’s so imaginative.…

FEATURE: Five Ideas for SUICIDE SQUAD Movie Spin-Offs
In addition to a planned sequel, there has been talk of spin-offs from DC Films’ Suicide Squad. Writer-director David Ayer says there’s plenty of potential for “zillions” of other movies spawning from this one. Margot Robbie’s Harley Quinn is expected to star in a female ensemble film, while spin-offs for Joker and Boomerang are rumored to be considered. Obviously, all of this depends on whether the first movie is a box office hit. Suicide Squad introduces many new villains into the DC Extended Universe, and assuming the film does succeed, audiences will want to see more of them. One way that can be accomplished is by giving some characters their…

King Shark Was Considered for SUICIDE SQUAD, Says David Ayer
David Ayer and the cast of Suicide Squad held a Q&A session on Twitter today. During Ayer’s turn, the writer-director was asked if there was a character he had considered for the film, but ultimately dropped. Turns out he considered a pretty big addition. Ayer reveals that King Shark was considered for the Suicide Squad team. However, he explains that bringing the character to life would have required plenty of CG work, and he didn’t feel comfortable with creating a fully CG character. Thus, Killer Croc was added instead. .@diablosantanas #askthesquad pic.twitter.com/pORnCzYpjH — David Ayer (@DavidAyerMovies) July 29, 2016 King Shark is a frequent member of the Suicide Squad in…

SUICIDE SQUAD Will Have a Mid-Credits Scene
Recently, it has become a popular trend for superhero movies to have an additional scene during or after the credits. Marvel Studios does it in every film, while the X-Men franchise began to do it a few years ago. However, DC Films’ Man of Steel and Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice did not have an after- or mid-credits scene. Green Lantern did, and we all know how that went. But that’s finally about to change with Suicide Squad next week. Comic Book has confirmed that Suicide Squad will have an extra scene in the middle of the credits. The scene is described as “pivotal and important.” No further details…
