CAPTAIN MARVEL Wraps Production
As Marvel’s Ant-Man and The Wasp has hit theaters this weekend, production has wrapped on the studio’s next highly anticipated blockbuster. Star Brie Larson and co-director Ryan Fleck have announced on social media that Captain Marvel has finished shooting. The movie has been filming for a few months in California, before wrapping in Baton Rouge and New Orelans, Lousiana. This also takes place as Marvel and Sony begin production on Spider-Man: Far From Home, while Avengers 4 reshoots will happen later in the year. CAPTAIN MARVEL Recruits Composer Pinar Toprak
Marvel Studios’ first 2019 blockbuster, Captain Marvel, is currently in the final weeks of production. This week, we have confirmation of the composer for this movie’s score. Composer Pinar Toprak announced on Instagram that she is scoring Captain Marvel. She is the first female composer to take on a major superhero movie, Marvel or otherwise. Marvel Studios Has Plans for Kamala Khan/Ms. Marvel
Marvel Studios is planning many films starring new characters after 2019’s Avengers 4. Currently, the studio has plans for the Eternals, Moon Knight and Nova, while a Black Widow movie is finally moving forward. Now, another character has been confirmed to join the MCU…eventually. Ben Mendelsohn in Talks to Join CAPTAIN MARVEL
It seems like the rich get richer. Academy Award-Winning actress Brie Larson is set to star as the main character, legendary actor Samuel L. Jackson is set to co-star, and now esteemed actor Ben Mendelsohn is in talks to join Captain Marvel as the main villain. The news is coming from The Wrap, and they believe that Mendelsohn could be playing the leader of the Skrulls.
