With Birds of Prey finally rounding out its cast, Huntress actress Mary Elizabeth Winstead (Fargo) gives us some details on her preparation for the role. In an interview with The Wrap, Winstead said: I’m going to start training, and I’ll be learning how to shoot a bow and arrow, too — which is new for me. Warner Bros. has released the second trailer for its next DC film, Aquaman. We’ve heard a lot of casting stories for DC’s Birds of Prey movie, which will see Harley Quinn team up with a gang of female characters in the DC Universe. Many actresses have been tested for the ensemble, and now, two key characters have been cast. Mary Elizabeth Winstead (10 Cloverfield Lane) is set to play The Huntress, while Jurnee Smolett-Bell (Underground) has been cast as Black Canary. Margot Robbie’s Birds of Prey movie has been the next DC title to head towards production. The film will see Harley Quinn team up with a slew of female characters from the DC Universe. Warner Bros. previously put several Harley Quinn-centric films into development. One of these was a film pairing her with Jared Leto’s Joker, to be written and directed by Glenn Ficarra and John Requa.
