Three ARROW Villains Are Returning for “Elseworlds” Crossover
The CW’s “Elseworlds” crossover looks to be a doozy, with the return and introduction of multiple Arrowverse characters. It will also revolve around reality being rewritten by Dr. John Deegan – which explains why Barry Allen and Oliver Queen have swapped places – so characters will be looking very different. Now, we have confirmation that not one, not two, but three villains from Arrow will be featured. [Warning: the following contains SPOILERS from recent episodes of Arrow.] The CW has released a bunch of new images from “Elseworlds,” and one of them features three familiar characters: Malcolm Merlyn (John Barrowman), Joe Wilson (Liam Hall), and Ricardo Diaz (Kirk Acevedo). Here,…

Batman’s Absence in the Arrowverse Explained in “Elseworlds” Crossover
For the longest time, fans of The CW have had one question: Where is Batman? The shows have vaguely referenced the character off and on. Last season, Arrow namedropped Bruce Wayne directly, while this year’s “Elseworlds” crossover will introduce Gotham City and Batwoman, who is also getting her own series. But despite all this, The CW has no plans for an actual Batman appearance. Fortunately, though, Bat-fans will get the next best thing in “Elseworlds.” The shows’ producers have confirmed that the event will address the whereabouts of Batman, revealing his place in the Arrowverse. Apparently, Batman has been missing for a few years. This had led to a huge…

THE FLASH Will Bring Back Multiple Villains for Episode 100
The Flash will be hitting its 100th episode this year, and so far, details have been scarce. Unlike Arrow‘s 100th episode, this won’t be part of any crossover event. Instead, the “Elseworlds” crossover will move to the episode after. Now, it looks like the episode will see the return of multiple beloved Flash villains. DC World recently met Tony Todd, aka the voice of Zoom, at MCM Comic-Con London. There, Todd revealed that he is reprising the role for The Flash‘s 100th episode. Not only that, but he adds that the episode will bring back the show’s other speedster villains, and they all “want a piece” of Barry Allen. The…

After our first real glimpse of the Flash Museum in the future it’s time to give a more in depth introduction to Darth Malgus… I mean Cicada. John Wesley Shipp’s Flash Will Return in Arrowverse’s “Elseworlds” Crossover
John Wesley Shipp has played a key supporting role on The Flash, first as Barry Allen’s father and then as speedster Jay Garrick. But before all that, he played Barry Allen himself in the 1990 The Flash television series. Well, it looks like he will reprise that role for the Arrowverse’s next crossover event. Arrow star Stephen Amell tweeted the following “Elseworlds” set photo, featuring Oliver Queen and Barry Allen in their swapped costumes, as well as Supergirl. But most significantly, it shows John Wesley Shipp in his original Flash costume. No big deal. Just working with @JohnWesleyShipp for the first time. Nice of him to dress up for the…

I don’t know what to say… but Iris does. She gives Barry’s twenty-five year disappearance the…

First Look at Superman’s New Suit in Arrowverse “Elseworlds” BTS Photo
This year’s Arrowverse crossover, titled “Elseworlds,” is already a big deal by introducing Lois Lane, Batwoman, and more characters. But perhaps most significantly, it marks the return of Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) to The CW. Green Arrow and Flash will finally get to meet the Man of Steel, and since these shows usually can’t include DC’s A-listers, this is a big deal. Now, it looks like Superman will be sporting a new outfit for the event. Arrow star Stephen Amell tweeted the following BTS photo, featuring him with Hoechlin and The Flash‘s Grant Gustin. In the photo, Hoechlin is wearing a black Superman suit, a stark contrast from his classic costume. 🤯🤯🤯…

ARROW Star Stephen Amell Calls “Elseworlds” the Best Arrowverse Crossover Yet
This year’s Arrowverse, titled “Elseworlds,” will be a little smaller, having three shows instead of four. But, it will be a big deal. It will introduce Batwoman, Nora Fries, and Lois Lane to the Arrowverse, while Superman is set to return. Now, we have some more hints on what to expect, courtesy of Arrow star Stephen Amell. During a Facebook Q&A session, Amell says that this crossover is “f***ing bananas,” and he has some very, very high praise on what to expect. “I think that this will be the best crossover event that we do. The CW has released a new promo image, giving us a first look at Rose suited up as Batwoman. The costume was designed by Colleen Atwood, who also created the suits for Green Arrow, Flash, and Supergirl. Needless to say, the costume looks very faithful to the comics’ version, and it is arguably one of the better costumes in the Arrowverse already. Check it out below,…
