THE FLASH Casts Kyle Secor as Caitlin’s Father
Kyle Secor (Veronica Mars, Purge: Election Year) will recur this season on The Flash as Caitlin Snow’s father. Dr. Thomas Snow is an eccentric geneticist who has been missing for quite awhile, and tries to make up for lost time. But he’s hiding a secret, duh duh duh…… We’ll learn the role he played in Killer Frost’s creation, and see how much Dr. Carla Tannhauser (Caitlin’s mother) had a part in the powers as well. It seems both parents will have a part to play this season, so we’ll have to see if Caitlin gets her other half back. The Flash returns on The CW October 9 at 8 pm Eastern. And for…

STAR WARS: RESISTANCE Set 6 months before TFA
Thanks to some curious fans, we now know when Star Wars: Resistance is supposed to be set in the great Star Wars timeline. It’s close to six months before The Force Awakens. The information has now been removed from starwars.com, but a fan got some screenshots of the site’s metadata to backup the claim. Haven’t seen this anywhere else. If you inspect Resistence page on https://t.co/dDkCx5APXe, it apparently confirms that #StarWarsResistance is going to take place around 6 months before #TheForceAwakens pic.twitter.com/F2NfPTXfhj — Jose Ruiz (@Darth_Hardy) August 19, 2018 Does this surprise you? Make you more curious about the show? What background information do you think they’ll give us about Poe,…

Cameron Cuffe Previews Lobo’s Role in KRYPTON
Lobo is coming to Krypton! The show and the planet will get to meet Lobo in his live action debut, and Cameron Cuffe(Seg-El) being the star previewed just how difficult that will be for the Krypton team, but also why it is worth it. “We’re really excited to work with Lobo because in the comics he’s such a broad character, he’s an almost ridiculous character and like some people would say how’s he going to work with the tone of the show,” Cuffe said. “That’s a challenge we’re really excited to work with and I think Seg’s going to be spending a lot of time with him which will be…

Supergirl Casts Vice President in Brent Spiner
Brent Spiner will be recurring as Vice President Baker when Supergirl returns this fall. Baker is “described as “Adept and politically minded”” and proves himself to be an unlikely leader when his country needs him most. Could this be a sign President Marsdin will fall? Hmmmm… Spiner isn’t the first new cast this season for Supergirl, and he probably won’t be the last. Nicole Maines(Nia Nal/Dreamer), Sam Witwer(Agent Liberty), April Parker Jones(Colonel Haley), Rhona Mitra(Mercy Graves), David Ajala(Manchester Black) will all join the cast in series regular or recurring roles this season. And of course, we can’t forget Jesse Rath(Brainy) will be a series regular this season, filling the holes…

In today’s TV news bits, we’re talking about three shows on The CW! First up: Black Lightning! Black Lightning showrunners and producers Salim and Mara Brock Akil confirmed at San Diego Comic Con that they are trying to build a “Lightningverse” as like the “Arrowverse”. Review: THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN
Directed By: Sam Liu, Jake Castorena Based Upon: “The Death of Superman” by DC Comics Wow. Just wow. The End. JUST KIDDING. The non-spoiler review is below. I might do a spoiler review after the movie is out on all platforms. I was enormously impressed with this film. The DC Animated Movie Universe has neverrr caught my eye in the slightest, but this one really takes everything I hated from the last movies and tosses out the window. We get to see a more balanced Clark Kent, yet also a more… troubled Clark. Gah this is hard to do without so many spoilers. I wish we’d had this fight with…

Queen’s Shadow By: E.K. Johnston This book will follow Padme Amidala as she transitions from queen of Naboo to senator of Naboo. E.K.
