JUSTICE LEAGUE: Henry Cavill Says Snyder-Cut Wouldn’t Make a Difference
Henry Cavill spoke on the “Snyder-Cut” opportunity during his press tour for Mission: Impossible – Fallout. He doesn’t know if one actually exists or not, but he does think if one did exist, it wouldn’t make a difference. He says it might be entertaining, but it wouldn’t change what happened in Justice League, and ultimately it wouldn’t make money for the studio, so while it would be interesting to see the differences, the future is where it’s at. STARGIRL Series Coming to DC Universe
We have news of a fourth live action show coming to the DC Universe streaming service! Stargirl will be the show, with Sarah Scheer, Greg Berlanti and Geoff Johns to produce. Berlanti and Johns will write the scripts up for the show, with it having 13 episodes in total. The show will air at some point in 2019, and will focus on high school sophomore Courtney Whitmore who inspires a group of young heroes to stop villains from the past. STAR WARS: THE CLONE WARS is Returning
Are you ready for it? Star Wars: The Clone Wars will be returning to close out its arc! After unceremoniously being canceled in 2013, Clone Wars put a sixth unaired, “unfinished” season on Netflix. Dave Filoni revealed today in an SDCC panel sneakily titled as a way to honor the show’s tenth anniversary, that the show would be returning on Disney Direct, Disney’s upcoming streaming service. According to the show’s writer(Brett Freidman) back in 2014, scripts had been finished for the show through an eighth season. At this time, it is unknown if those scripts will in fact be used, and for how many seasons the show will air.…

SPIDER-MAN: FAR FROM HOME Adds Numan Acar
More casting news for the Spider-Man: Homecoming sequel, Spider-Man: Far From Home! Numan Acar is set to join the film to play a character named Dimitri. Spider-Man:Far From Home is supposed to be released July 5 2019. No word on any other details about the character, but in the comics, there is a character named Dimitri Smerdyakov, the Chameleon. THE FLASH: Danielle Panabaker to Make Her Directorial Debut
Danielle Panabaker will be have two chairs in a The Flash episode this season. One, her typical actor’s chair, and two, her director chair! That’s right everybody, Danielle will direct her first episode of The Flash in an upcoming episode (TBD – or at least, we don’t know which episode yet), and technically its her first time stepping into the director’s spotlight ever. Vixen to Return for CW Seed’s FREEDOM FIGHTERS: THE RAY
Megalyn Echikunwoke is set to head to CW Seed’s Freedom Fighters: The Ray. She will play the multiverse counterpart to her current role on CW Seed, present day Vixen. Megalyn is currently the voice of present day Vixen on CW Seed, and she has played the same role in live action on The CW’s Arrow. Jeremy Renner Set to Star in SPAWN
Jeremy Renner will be joining Jamie Foxx and Todd McFarlane in the Blumhouse adaption of Spawn. Deadline reports that Renner will be playing Detective “Twitch” Williams, while Foxx will be playing Al Simmons. The budget has yet to be determined (it’ll likely be in the $10-12 million range), but McFarlane is hopeful these casting choices will help it, as well as “spawn” a franchise.
