Review: AQUAMAN TV Pilot
A Little Background This TV pilot was developed off of the hype surrounding Smallville‘s episode “Aqua”. In that episode, Alan Ritchson played Arthur Curry who was trying to prevent the development of a Luthor Corp weapon. The character was enormously popular with the creators of Smallville seeing the feedback and the potential. They decided to develop a new series for the man from Atlantis, but not a spin-off of Smallville. Hence the reasoning behind having a different actor (Justin Hartley) than Alan Ritchson. We’ve got the deets on the release date for the Antman and The Wasp, as well as special features, and deleted scenes. Digital release for the movie will be October 2nd, with the physical copies of the movies being released October 16th. BREAKING: Henry Cavill Appears to be Out as Superman
UPDATE 1: Warner Bros. issued a statement about Cavill, saying “While no decisions have been made regarding any upcoming Superman films, we’ve always had great respect for and a great relationship with Henry Cavill, and that remains unchanged” UPDATE 2: A follow-up report from TMZ claims the firestorm generated by this story is an “invented conflict,” and that “Cavill along with others would be in play” when Superman returns to the silver screen. DOOM PATROL: Brendan Fraser cast as Robotman
Brendan Fraser has been cast as the the voice of Robotman and will play Cliff Steele(the brain Robotman carries) in flashbacks in the upcoming DC Universe series Doom Patrol. Riley Shanahan has been cast as Robotman, and complete the physical performance wearing a full costume.
