With Arrow going on hiatus after tonight’s mid-season finale, casting is moving forward for the rest of season two. According to TV Line, Prison Break and Heroes actor Robert Knepper has been cast as the villainous William Tockman, aka the Clock King. In this incarnation of the DC Comics foe, Tockman “earned his nickname being a brilliant criminal who plans his crimes with precision, down to the second.” The character will appear in episode 14, which also sees the return of Alex Kingston’s Dinah Lance. After this week’s highly anticipated episode, Arrow Season 2 returns January 15th on The CW.

We have a couple of reports concerning the Batman vs. Superman production. First off, Batman-On-Film has shared an update on the construction of the new Batmobile, which is rumored to be Cadillac-influenced. The site’s source says the following. “I was informed that the Batmobile is actually being designed and built in Warren, Michigan at GM’s famed ‘Studio X’ – the auto industry’s equivalent of Fort Knox. Or the first rule of FIGHT CLUB… The Batmobile will then be finished at the GM Advanced Design Studio in North Hollywood by February. I believe this is where the car will be tested and stunt drivers trained before the car is transported back to Detroit…

We have some more casting news for Warner Bros.’ hotly anticipated Batman vs. Superman, which begins filming next February. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Game of Thrones and Conan the Barbarian star Jason Momoa is negotiating for a role. While it isn’t known which character he is up for, THR suggests that he could play Doomsday, who has been rumored to be the sequel’s main villain alongside Lex Luthor. Warner Bros. has released a new still image from DC’s next animated project, Justice League: War. Based on the “Origin” story arc from Geoff Johns and Jim Lee’s New 52 run, the movie tells the story of the Justice League’s formation and sees the team battling Darkseid. The following image features Wonder Woman, Cyborg, Green Lantern, and Shazam. Additionally, World’s Finest Online has learned that George Newbern – who is known for voicing Superman in Justice League and Justice League Unlimited, as well as the Injustice: Gods Among Us video game – has joined the impressive cast of Justice League: War as Steve Trevor. While Warner Bros. Interactive recently released the prequel Batman: Arkham Origins, Rocksteady is apparently still developing a follow-up to the critically acclaimed Arkham City. Via IMGMR, we have some potential details for the highly anticipated installment. Titled Batman: Arkham Knight, the game will have an open-world map that contains “a little more freedom” than Arkham City‘s. Additionally, the artistic style will resemble that of the 2011 game. Casting is currently underway for the unspecified villain(s) of Batman vs. Superman, with Callan Mulvey (300: Rise of an Empire) being looked at for an antagonistic role. So far, Lex Luthor is the most likely to appear, as he was heavily referenced in Man of Steel. The likes of Metallo and Doomsday have also been rumored. One of the Man of Steel actors who will return for Batman vs. Superman is Amy Adams, who will reprise her Lois Lane role for the follow-up. We recently heard about a potential plot point from Fox’s Gotham television pilot, which will be written and directed by Bruno Heller. Focusing on a younger detective Jim Gordon, the first episode will reportedly see him investigating the deaths of Thomas and Martha Wayne. Now, a casting call adds weight to that rumor. Via Television Show Auditions, among Gotham‘s series regulars will be a ten-year-old Bruce Wayne. First off, the site claims to know which character 300: Rise of an Empire‘s Callan Mulvey is up for in the former, and it’s Metallo.
