Disney Schedules Six New Marvel Movies for 2021 and 2022
We still don’t know too much about Marvel Studios’ plans post-Avengers 4, but one thing is for certain: we’re still getting many more movies. The studio previously scheduled three untitled movies for 2020. And now, we have six more dates set. In its latest schedule update, Disney has reserved six dates for untitled Marvel movies for the years 2021 and 2022. May 7th, 2021 July 30th, 2021 November 5th, 2021 February 18th, 2022 May 6th, 2022 July 29th, 2022 Additionally, the Marvel movie scheduled for August 7th, 2020 will now be released on July 31st, 2020. AVENGERS: INFINITY WAR Release Date Moved Up One Week
The wait for Marvel Studios’ Avengers: Infinity War just got a little shorter. Marvel has announced today that the highly anticipated sequel has been moved up from its original May 4th release. It will now hit theaters on April 27th, 2018 worldwide. This is a very pleasant surprise for Marvel fans, while United States viewers won’t have to wait an extra week like for most MCU titles. Kristen Wiig in Talks to Play Cheetah in WONDER WOMAN 2
This week, we heard a rumor that Cheetah is the main antagonist in DC Films’ Wonder Woman sequel, which is currently undergoing casting and will shoot this summer. Now, we may have an actress for the villainous role, but it’s not who you may have expected. According to Deadline, Kristen Wiig is in talks to play Cheetah in Wonder Woman 2. Constantine Confirmed to Appear in LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Season Finale
Following his own series’ cancellation and an Arrow guest appearance, Matt Ryan’s John Constantine finally popped up on Legends of Tomorrow earlier this season. Sooner after the episode, it was confirmed that Constantine will be back in episode 15. And now, he’ll return for the end of the season. Warner Bros. TV has announced (via ComicBook) that Constantine will appear in Legends of Tomorrow‘s season three finale. The exact extent of his role in the episode is still unknown. Following the trilogy led by Will Smith and Tommy Lee Jones, Sony is continuing the Men in Black series with a new film. Warner Bros. Bringing CONSTANTINE Animated Premiere and More DC Shows to WonderCon 2018
Warner Bros. has announced its television and animation plans for next month’s WonderCon, and several DC shows will be present. Most significantly, the Constantine animated series will be holding its world premiere. The show has been confirmed for a March 24th release on CW Seed. Despite Disney’s planned acquisition of Fox, the studio is still moving at full speed ahead with multiple Marvel-based movies, primarily in the X-Men franchise. Captain Marvel recently began filming, but the next Marvel blockbuster is still in the process of filling out its cast. Today, we have some more news. According to Deadline, Humans star Gemma Chan has been cast as Marvel Comics character Minn-Erva (also called Doctor Minerva), a Kree geneticist and spy.
