FEATURE: 5 Reasons to Get Excited for METROPOLIS
Just a short three months ago, I wrote a feature for our 14 Days of Justice League arguing why Lois Lane deserved a solo film. It’s coming from the producers of Gotham, so you can count out Amy Adams or Jesse Eisenberg. But there’s still great reason to be excited for this venture. Here’s my top five reasons to get excited for Metropolis… #5 – The Premise Here’s how DC pitches the series: Set in the wondrous and awe-inspiring City…

Director Nicole Kassell Tapped for WATCHMEN Pilot
While news for Damon Lindelof’s Watchmen series has been few and far between, more is beginning to drip as the show speeds into production. Deadline reports that director Nicole Kassell has been tapped to helm the Pilot episode. Kassell has an impressive resume, having directed episodes of Lindelof’s The Leftovers, along with episodes of Better Call Saul, The Americans, and the upcoming Castle Rock series at Hulu. All of these shows are shot in a raw and dramatic way, so we can expect Watchmen to have a similar tone. Watchmen is produced by Lindelof’s White Rabbit in association with Warner Bros. Television. The show is expected to air on HBO in 2018.…
