With Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice a few weeks away, Warner Bros. is currently prepping for filming Justice League Part One. It was recently confirmed that the superhero ensemble will begin production on April 11th. And now, Superman actor Henry Cavill has talked a little bit about the movie. During Jimmy Kimmel’s Oscar show actor Ben Affleck showed off some new footage from his film, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. Here we see a little more of the fight between the two titans, along with a hilarious “deleted “scene featuring Jimmy Kimmel. Check it all out down below! Carla Gugino Teases Small Voice Role in BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE
Actress Carla Gugino has worked several times with director Zack Snyder. She appeared in Watchmen and Sucker Punch, while she voiced the robot Kelor in Man of Steel. And now, it looks like Gugino is bringing her voice back to the DC Extended Universe in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. On Twitter, Gugino responded to a fan inquiry about Batman v Superman. To celebrate, Watchtower of Babel News is planning a 25-day series of reviews, features, editorials and other posts inspired by the upcoming motion picture. A new original post will be published each day for 25 days in the month of March. The series will kick off on March 1st and end on March 25th, the release date of the movie. We are only four weeks away from the release of Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and with tickets set to go on sale Monday, box office predictions have begun to hit the web. According to Deadline, rival studios and tracking executives are projecting that the film will open with a $100-140 million opening weekend. The film will hit tracking boards on Thursday, so we’ll receive a more definite prediction then. Of course, this is only an early number; often, a franchise movie will open higher than the initial projections. For example, Fox’s Deadpool was originally expected to open with $65-75M, but ended up with a huge $150M four-day weekend.…

Funko Officially Unveils New Wave of DC Superheroes Pop! Figures
At Toy Fair 2016 earlier this month, Funko unveiled concept art for a new wave of DC Comics Pop! figures, based on the characters’ appearances in the comic books. And now, Legion of Collectors has officially unveiled the five new Pops! Included in this wave are Supergirl, Firestorm, Cyborg, Power Girl and Black Manta. An R-Rated “Ultimate” Cut of BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE is On the Way
Well, this is probably the most unexpected headline you’ll read today. A few months back, MPAA confirmed a PG-13 rating for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. You know, the rating that accompanies 99% of superhero movies nowadays. However, there is another cut of this film that was just classified by the MPAA, and it has been given a rating of…R?! According to the MPAA (via Batman-News), an “Ultimate Edition” of Batman v Superman has been classified. POWERLESS Pilot Adds Alan Tudyk and Two More to Cast
Yesterday, it was announced that Vanessa Hudgens will star in NBC’s Powerless pilot, a workplace comedy set in the DC Universe. Now, the pilot has added three more actors to its cast, and television fans should be familiar with these names. Via Variety, actors Alan Tudyk (Firefly), Danny Pudi (Community) and Christina Kirk (A to Z) have joined the cast of Powerless in (potential) series regular roles.
