Last week, it was reported that Warner Bros. and DC are developing a Supergirl television series, with Arrow and The Flash‘s Greg Berlanti set to executive produce. The project, which likely will not be titled Supergirl, is prepping to be pitched to various networks in the coming weeks. In addition to 2016’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Warner Bros. has nine untitled DC films dated from then to 2020. There has been much speculation concerning what exactly these titles are. Justice League and Dwayne Johnson’s Shazam movie are a given, while an Aquaman film recently acquired writers. Solo films for Superman, Batman and Wonder Woman are also inevitable. And there has been talk of a Justice League Dark film from Guillermo del Toro, while a Green Lantern-Flash team-up movie has been rumored. Speaking with FlashTVNews at PaleyFest recently, The Flash executive producer Greg Berlanti discusses the highly anticipated Arrow spin-off. Originally slated for a Fall 2014 release, Batman: Arkham Knight was later moved to an unspecified date in 2015. Rocksteady cited the need for more time to perfect the highly anticipated video game when the studio announced this delay. This is completely understandable, given the amount of hype that has been built up since 2011’s acclaimed Batman: Arkham City. The second season of Arrow saw the introduction of the Suicide Squad, which was formed by ARGUS. The initial lineup consisted of John Diggle, Lyla Michaels, Deadshot, Shrapnel and Bronze Tiger. Due to the positive reception to the “Suicide Squad” episode, there has been talk of featuring these characters again, possibly even giving them their own series. During last night’s PaleyFest, The CW promoted its highly anticipated series The Flash. During the Arrow spin-off’s panel, executive producers Andrew Kreisberg and Greg Berlanti shared some interesting comments. First up, Kreisberg revealed that one Easter egg that was removed from the Flash pilot was for none other than LuthorCorp, the company owned by Lex Luthor. This reference was added in the post-production process. “The Flash was running down the street and he literally ran past LuthorCorp,” says Kreisberg. “And [the visual effects team] were sitting there like, ‘Is it alright?’ And we were like, ‘No! With The CW’S Fall season roughly a month away, the network is continuing to spew out exciting new footage for DC-based shows The Flash and Arrow. The Flash, which will be making its series debut on October 7th, and Arrow, whose third season will begin on October 8th, have received new trailers titled “Guardian Angel” and “High Speed Chase,” respectively. The former preview mainly focuses on Barry Allen becoming The Flash, while the latter showcases both fresh and familiar faces who’ll appear at some point this season. Take a look! 

A couple of months ago, Constantine writer and executive producer Daniel Cerone shared his interest in introducing Jim Corrigan in NBC’s highly anticipated DC series. Of course, Corrigan is best known in the comics for being the alter ego of The Spectre, one of the more recognizable supernatural characters in the DC Universe.
