Katee Sackhoff Shares Her Desire To Play Wonder Woman And Harley Quinn
Battlestar Galactica and Riddick star Katee Sackhoff has been mentioned for a slew of comic book movie roles, with the most common suggestion being Carol Danvers/Ms. Marvel. Speaking with Total Film, Sackhoff talks about her interest in the genre. She reveals that she auditioned to play Wonder Woman in (presumably) NBC’s failed television series, and goes on to say that she’s still interested in portraying Diana Prince. “I would love to play any of these characters. I’d love to play Wonder Woman. I remember auditioning for the Wonder Woman television show and being told that I wasn’t the Wonder Woman type, but if I wanted to play the best friend,…

Rumor: Dwayne Johnson Up For The Role Of GREEN LANTERN John Stewart?
This week, Dwayne “The Rock” Johnson revealed that he was teaming up with DC on (most likely) a film project for 2014. The wrestler-turned-actor didn’t say which movie he was involved with, but speculation pointed to either a role in Batman vs. Superman (which shoots this year) or a return to the long in-development Lobo adaptation. Unsurprisingly, a slew of characters Johnson could play were mentioned – from Lobo, Black Adam and Lex Luthor to John Stewart, Cyborg (?!) and Doomsday. Now, a new rumor attempts to narrow that field down. Think McFly Think owner Peter Georgiou shared a rumor on Twitter that he has heard through the grapevine, suggesting…

ARROW’s Andrew Kreisberg Discusses Competition From AGENTS OF S.H.I.E.L.D. And Other Comic Book Shows
With a very solid first season and a near-flawless second season, many haven’t hesitated to call Arrow the best live action comic book series ever. However, the series did face some competition this year with Marvel’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D., which airs on ABC. While the Avengers spin-off has more weekly viewers than Arrow‘s usual, fans commonly consider the CW series to be of higher quality. Speaking with TV Line, Arrow executive producer Andrew Kreisberg comments on this apparent competition. “We don’t really feel like we’re in competition with anybody else. We’re only trying to outdo ourselves as we move forward.” The next couple years are going to be big for comic…
