Today we’ve got some news on Titans casting, Gotham using yet another Batman villain, and Arrow doing even more crazy stunts. There’s a lot to unpack so let’s get into it. According to our friends at Super Bro Movies, Elliot Knight (Life Sentence) has been cast as Don Hall on Titans. Knight will appear in flashbacks as the original Dove. Don Hall and Hank Hall (Alan Ritchson) are brothers and the original Hawk and Dove. It’ll be interesting to see how they use the flashbacks to flesh out Ritchson’s character. It was recently revealed that a new Supergirl movie is in the works at Warner Bros. and DC Films. Now, we know what type of director they’re looking for. Unsurprisingly, the studio is keen on hiring a female filmmaker to tackle this project. DEADPOOL 2 Concept Art Reveals Scrapped Appearance From…The Fantastic Four?
When Deadpool 2 first entered development, director Tim Miller was set to return after the first film’s massive success. However, he eventually left the project due to creative differences. David Leitch later replaced him. Not too much has been known about how Miller’s version differs from what we got, but it turns out he planned on including Marvel’s First Family. Concept artist Alexander Lozano has been posting his artwork from Miller’s Deadpool 2 on social media. They mostly include alternative designs for characters like Cable and Juggernaut. STAR WARS RESISTANCE Trailer and Premiere Date Revealed
With Star Wars Rebels finished and a seventh season of The Clone Wars not out until next year, Disney is moving forward with a new animated series. Star Wars Resistance takes place a few years before The Force Awakens, and it centers on a new Resistance pilot who spies on the First Order. Poe Dameron, Captain Phasma, Leia Organa, and other characters are expected to appear. Today, Disney released the first trailer for the series. Full Trailer for IRON FIST Season 2 Released
We’ve seen a couple of brief teasers, but now, Netflix has released the full trailer for Marvel’s Iron Fist season two. The trailer focuses on Danny Rand’s new mission to defend New York City, in the wake of Daredevil’s “death” in The Defenders. It also emphasizes on Danny’s rivalry with Davos, who has embraced his comic book destiny of becoming the Steel Serpent. We also see glimpses of Alice Eve’s Typhoid Mary, Misty Knight, and some solid action scenes. Check out the trailer below, and stay tuned for more as we have it. Welcome back to another edition of Movie News Bits! Today, we’re talking about Valiant Comics! First up, we have some news that Sony is developing a Faith superhero movie. The “Faith” comics center around a regular geeky teenager named Faith Herbert, who’s obsessed with comics and science fiction, and has the powers of telekinesis and flight. Lamorne Morris has been cast in Bloodshot, for the role of Wilfred Wigans! Wigans is a young scientist, who becomes Bloodshot’s unlikely ally. Morris joins Eiza Gonzalez, Sam Heughan, Talulah Riley, Alex Hernandez, and Toby Kebbell.
