SHAZAM! Covers Entertainment Weekly’s Exclusive SDCC 2018 Issue
Entertainment Weekly has revealed its second San Diego Comic-Con 2018 cover, which will be available exclusively online and at the convention. This cover brings DC Films’ next big hero to the spotlight. The cover features Zachary Levi suited up as the titular hero in Shazam!, which will be part of Warner Bros. and DC’s panel this Saturday. The magazine also has some quotes from Levi, who pitches the film as “Superman Meets Big.” He also says that, unlike many modern superheroes, Billy Batson will actually love being a hero and can’t wait to use his powers. Warner Bros. and DEADPOOL 2 Will Dominate San Diego Comic-Con on Saturday, July 21st
The Saturday, July 21st schedule for San Diego Comic-Con 2018 has been released. In addition to confirming one key panel, a couple more have been revealed. First up, Warner Bros. will hold its Hall H panel from 10:30 am to 12:30 PM. The panel description simply reads, “Get a first look at the studio’s highly anticipated future releases. Films and special panelists TBA.” It has already been announced that the Aquaman trailer will premiere here, while Shazam! and Wonder Woman 1984 are also expected. Fans will surely expect news on other DC movies too. Outside of DC, Godzilla: King of the Monsters is confirmed, but we’re still waiting on other movies.…

THE DEATH OF SUPERMAN Sets World Premiere at San Diego Comic-Con 2018
DC’s next animated title, The Death of Superman, is hitting digital platforms at the end of the month. But if you want to be among the first to see the movie (legally, that is), here’s your chance. A world premiere panel for The Death of Superman has been announced as part of San Diego Comic-Con’s Friday schedule. The panel takes place on July 20th from 7:00 to 9:00 PM in Ballroom 20. Sony Bringing VENOM and SPIDER-MAN: INTO THE SPIDER-VERSE to San Diego Comic-Con 2018
Marvel Studios is skipping Hall H at San Diego Comic-Con next month, but the convention will still be getting some other movie goodness, courtesy of Sony Pictures. According to Deadline, Sony is bringing Venom and Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse to Hall H. The panel is said to be scheduled for Friday, July 20th at 6:15 PM. No details on who from those movies will be that panel, or how much new footage to expect. IRON FIST, KRYPTON and LUCIFER Are Returning to San Diego Comic-Con 2018
We’re a month away from this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. This week, we have confirmation of three shows making their presence known at the convention. According to Deadline, Marvel and Netflix are bringing Iron Fist to SDCC. Star Finn Jones will show up alongside other cast members and producers to discuss the show’s second season, which is scheduled to arrive sometime this year.
