Review: YOUNG JUSTICE: INVASION
Young Justice is about a group of young heroes who work a special ops team for the Justice League. The team’s mission is to bring down the Light, an evil organization that the main Justice League legally can’t get involved with. Season one dealt with the formation of the team and introduced us to the main cast (click here for our review). In season two, things got even crazier. Full spoilers from here on out, let’s talk about season two. Season two takes place five years after the events of season one. The team is still trying to combat the forces of the Light, but not much progress at the…

RETROSPECTIVE REVIEW: DAREDEVIL Season 2
Daredevil Season 3 is only one day away, and your favorite Swedish geek is as hyped towards it as you are. Daredevil is my favorite of the Netflix Marvel shows, even though I still laugh that Matt Murdock is played by the same actor who plays the lead in Mathew Vaughn’s Stardust. This season is arguably the better one, compared to the first. The pace feels a lot smoother, and no arc gets the feeling of not having a closure or being unnecessary. You don’t sit there, find it dragging, and ask why Daredevil is returning when Murdock and Foggy are in a courtroom drama. Every part works for the story…

Review: ATTACK ON TITAN Season 2
Season two starts off where the last season ended. Eren Jaeger and his friends are still at war with the humanoid eating Titans. It doesn’t get any easier as more mysteries and enemies are discovered along the way With season one’s massive popularity, you would think that season two would have been right around the corner. But unfortunately, we all had to wait four years before we could continue the animated adventures of Eren Jaeger and his friends. The second season starts off with a short recap of the first season before picking back up where it left off and going full. Just like before, this season is truly a…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 2×22 – “Invincible”
The Flash (2×22) – “Invincible” Written by: Brook Roberts & David Kob Directed by: Jesse Warn Oh yeah! With all the Speed Force craziness of last week, I almost forgot Central City was on the brink of the kind of beat down usually reserved for Gotham City. Fortunately, Central City’s finest are… getting their asses kicked. Take Two: Fortunately for Central City’s Finest, the Flash is on the case. Unfortunately for Barry, upon returning to STAR Labs having literally put out all the fires everybody decides that self-confidence is the new word for recklessness. Isn’t that just like these people? Barry shows some competence and energy and they…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 2×18- “Versus Zoom”
The Flash (2×18) – “Versus Zoom” Written by: Joe Peracchio & David Kob Directed by: Stefan Pleszczynski After a quick retelling of the night Nora was murdered and a scene from the night Joe brought Barry into his home for contrast we slide on over to Earth-2 and see the night Hunter Zolomon’s mother was murdered. Unlike Barry, Hunter’s mom was actually killed by her father right in front of and instead of being taken into a loving home by a family friend, lil’ Hunter is dropped off at the Central City evil orphanage where he will no doubt receive the same loving care that made Tom Riddle into the…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 2×16 – “Trajectory”
The Flash (2×16) – “Trajectory” Written by: Lilah Vanderburgh & Lauren Certo Directed by: Glen Winter Okay! So between working thirteen days in a row, a little indie film I went and saw about the Dawn (Go ahead, ask me if I loved Batman v Superman!) and winter’s parting gift of a chest cold I’m not exactly timely with my Flash review but enough with the procrastination and on with the review. When we last left Barry and Team Flash he’d vowed to get fast enough to return to Earth-2, defeat Zoom and avenge Jay’s death. What better way to do that than recreate Evel Knievel at the Snake River…
