THE FLASH Will Bring Back Multiple Villains for Episode 100
The Flash will be hitting its 100th episode this year, and so far, details have been scarce. Unlike Arrow‘s 100th episode, this won’t be part of any crossover event. Instead, the “Elseworlds” crossover will move to the episode after. Now, it looks like the episode will see the return of multiple beloved Flash villains. DC World recently met Tony Todd, aka the voice of Zoom, at MCM Comic-Con London. There, Todd revealed that he is reprising the role for The Flash‘s 100th episode. Not only that, but he adds that the episode will bring back the show’s other speedster villains, and they all “want a piece” of Barry Allen. The…

After our first real glimpse of the Flash Museum in the future it’s time to give a more in depth introduction to Darth Malgus… I mean Cicada. Totally Cicada, I don’t mean that they totally aped his look from a video game character at all because that would be mean and if you’ve learned anything about me these last four plus years it’s that I’m kind to a fault… SHUT UP! So anyway, in the future Cicada has achieved Jack the Ripper like status because he…

Recap: ARROW S7 E2 – The Longbow Hunters
This week’s episode of Arrow pretty much continues the storyline on last week’s. We have Ollie in prison struggling to keep his ideals, Felicity wanting to take down Diaz, and Diggle leading a mission with A.R.G.U.S., oh and of course we can’t forget about our flash-forwards with Will and Roy. We do a bit more character work with our cast, with Oliver gone they have to find what their goals are, and how to operate as individuals. This mostly deals with Felicity. She is being consumed by her hatred of Diaz. She’s becoming desperate and it shows. We have Felicity at A.R.G.U.S. with Dig and Curtis. They essentially need to…

John Wesley Shipp’s Flash Will Return in Arrowverse’s “Elseworlds” Crossover
John Wesley Shipp has played a key supporting role on The Flash, first as Barry Allen’s father and then as speedster Jay Garrick. But before all that, he played Barry Allen himself in the 1990 The Flash television series. Well, it looks like he will reprise that role for the Arrowverse’s next crossover event. Arrow star Stephen Amell tweeted the following “Elseworlds” set photo, featuring Oliver Queen and Barry Allen in their swapped costumes, as well as Supergirl. But most significantly, it shows John Wesley Shipp in his original Flash costume. No big deal. Just working with @JohnWesleyShipp for the first time. Nice of him to dress up for the…

Scratch that, they’re telling everyone what she told Barry last week! What’s this?! Open and honest dialogue between the team about stuff that affects all their lives? I don’t know what to say… but Iris does. She gives Barry’s twenty-five year disappearance the…

Supergirl has featured many different characters from Superman lore, such as Jimmy James Olsen, Metallo, and the Man of Steel himself. Lois Lane will appear this year during the “Elseworlds” crossover event. But one character who has been absent is Superman’s arch nemesis, Lex Luthor. Well, that is finally going to change this season. The CW has announced that Lex Luthor is set to appear on Supergirl this season. He will be a recurring character, and casting begins soon. First Look at Superman’s New Suit in Arrowverse “Elseworlds” BTS Photo
This year’s Arrowverse crossover, titled “Elseworlds,” is already a big deal by introducing Lois Lane, Batwoman, and more characters. But perhaps most significantly, it marks the return of Superman (Tyler Hoechlin) to The CW. Green Arrow and Flash will finally get to meet the Man of Steel, and since these shows usually can’t include DC’s A-listers, this is a big deal. Now, it looks like Superman will be sporting a new outfit for the event. Arrow star Stephen Amell tweeted the following BTS photo, featuring him with Hoechlin and The Flash‘s Grant Gustin. In the photo, Hoechlin is wearing a black Superman suit, a stark contrast from his classic costume. 🤯🤯🤯…

ARROW Promotes Kirk Acevedo to Series Regular for Season 7
Arrow is returning with its season seven premiere tomorrow night, but we have one last bit of major news surrounding the show’s new year. Kirk Acevedo, who plays villain Ricardo Diaz, has been upgraded to a series regular for season seven. Originally introduced as a supporting foe, Diaz revealed himself as the true big bad on Arrow last season. He orchestrated the dissolution of Team Arrow, killed Quentin Lance, and forced Oliver Queen to publicly out himself as the Green Arrow. But in an unprecedented move for Arrow, Diaz will continue to antagonize our heroes beyond one season. Normally, the big bad is either killed or locked up, and the…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 5×01- “Nora”
The Flash (4×01)- “Nora” Written by: Todd Helbing & Sam Chalsen Directed by: David McWhirter HEY! Long time no see! Well maybe not that long, but it does feel like it’s been a while! The leaves are turning, the dew has turned to frost and Season 5 of the Flash is getting started. Season 5 is a high risk/high reward season in the life of any show. Some shows like Deep Space Nine had a lot of their best episodes in Season Five. Other shows… Kill off their best character… In favor of creepy incest pairings and dragons and you NEVER, EVER forgive anyone involved because that son of…
