Rumor: Has Warner Bros. Found a New Actor for THE BATMAN?
So Ben Affleck is out as Batman, or at least we think he is. I know, we’ve gone through this a thousand times at this point, but hear us out. Our friends at That Hashtag Show dropped some new details that involve Ben Affleck, Warner Bros., and a young actor. This’ll be fun. Early last week Affleck met with WB execs. Will Smith recently celebrated his 50th birthday. Like most 50 year olds, Smith celebrated his big day by jumping into the Grand Canyon. Before his jump, he did a Q&A with his fans. One of the fans asked Smith if he was still interested in a potential Deadshot movie. Here’s what Smith had to say: I hope so, I love playing Deadshot, I’ve really enjoyed that character. They’ve been talking about it, so if a good idea comes around… we’ve been having meetings. But I’d love to. I love Deadshot. In an interview with The Wrap, Winstead said: I’m going to start training, and I’ll be learning how to shoot a bow and arrow, too — which is new for me. The crossbow is Huntress’ signature weapon of choice in the comics. Winstead went on to say that she wasn’t a big comic reader, but director Cathy Yan won her over: I can’t say that I was a huge comic book reader, but when I met with Cathy Yan, who’s directing the film, and learned kind of the back story…

Review: VENOM – A Turd in the Wind
Sony thought it was a good idea to make a Spider-Man world without Spider-Man. That philosophy is terribly flawed. But here at WOBAM Entertainment, we were willing to give it the benefit of the doubt. As Sony hoped to create their own MCU separate from Disney, they pushed forward with Venom. What is this jumbled mess? Is it worth seeing? I’m going to break it all down with some minor spoilers. So, if you don’t want to know anything now is your queue to leave. But if you fancy, we do have a Spider-Man podcast linked below. And feel free to check out more of our 7 Days of Venom here. If…

New Details on Alfred Prequel Series – PENNYWORTH
If you didn’t know, everyone is getting a television series. The latest DC character to grace the silver screen is everyone’s favorite butler, Alfred Pennyworth. Now, Pennyworth is not a Gotham spin-off, so don’t expect Sean Pertwee to play the titular character. But thanks to the good people at That Hashtag Show, we have some new information on the series. I always imagined Pennyworth being DC’s Downton Abbey, but alas, it won’t be. The series will take place in London starring an Alfred in his mid 20s.
