Ben Affleck Officially Out as BATMAN
Just this morning we got news that director Matt Reeves (War for the Planet of the Apes), is moving forward with his next film, The Batman. Now, he has to find an actor to don the cape and cowl. Deadline is reporting that Ben Affleck is officially dropping the tights for good. Affleck has previously played the Dark Knight in Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, Suicide Squad, and Justice League. Warner Bros. did announce a release date for The Batman. BATMAN BEYOND Film in Development at Warner Bros.
After the success of Spider-Man: Into The Spider-Verse, Warner Brothers is planning to develop their own animated film. According to our friends at Geeks Worldwide, WB is pushing for a Batman Beyond film. Batman Beyond started as an animated series set after the events of Batman: The Animated Series. It focuses on Terry McGinnis (Will Friedle), a teenager who discovers the Batcave in the year 2039. Matt Reeves is Finally Moving Forward with THE BATMAN
Director Matt Reeves (War For The Planet of The Apes) has finally given us an update on The Batman. In an interview with The Hollywood Reporter, Reeves shared a few new tidbits. Matt Smith Joins the Spider-Man Spin-Off MORBIUS
Sony continues is push for more Spider-Man spin-off films. After the success of Venom, can you blame them? With the sequel to Venom, the next film in development with is Morbius starring Jared Leto (Suicide Squad). Now, the film has found its second lead.
