Ever since Ben Affleck was cast as Batman in 2013, fans have expected him to star in and possibly even direct his own solo film. Last summer, it was reported that Affleck will not only direct and star in the movie, he’s also co-writing the script with Geoff Johns. Second Teaser Trailer for THE LEGO BATMAN MOVIE Released
We saw the first trailer for 2017’s The LEGO Batman Movie the other day, and now, Warner Bros. has released a second teaser. This time, we get a look inside Wayne Manor. In this trailer, we get our first look at Alfred (voiced by Ralph Fiennes), as well as some of Batman’s iconic villains. There are also references to Batman’s past cinematic history, ranging from Batfleck to Batnipples. Check out the trailer below, and stay tuned for more news as we have it. WonderCon Sizzle Reel for DC’s LEGENDS OF TOMORROW Reveals Jonah Hex and More
At the show’s WonderCon 2016 panel today, a new sizzle reel for DC’s Legends of Tomorrow was released. It contains footage from the remainder of the CW show’s first season. The trailer offers a first look at Jonah Hex, and it reveals a couple of Arrow characters guest-starring on the series. Also teased are new upgrades to Atom’s suit, adventures in the wild west, and the team’s continuing mission to take down Vandal Savage. This post has been updated with the final numbers for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice‘s global opening weekend. Earlier today, we shared the news that Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice grossed an excellent $166.1 million in its opening weekend, the biggest Easter debut in movie history and the sixth highest opening ever. Now, the numbers are in for the movie’s worldwide opening, and we have even more good news. Internationally, Batman v Superman grossed $254 million from 66 markets.
