First Promos for GOTHAM Season Two Tease the “Rise of the Villains”
We are just a couple months away now from the season two premiere of Gotham. And now, Fox (via The Hollywood Reporter) has released the first two promos for the new season. The first teases Jim Gordon’s continuing crusade in Gotham City, and he turns to a surprising choice of an “ally.” The second teaser hints at Bruce Wayne’s discovery of the future Batcave and his heroic destiny. ARROW Recruits Jeri Ryan for Guest Star Role
Last month, it was reported that Arrow was looking to cast a new candidate for mayor of Starling Star City for its fourth season. The show was aiming to cast a big name for the role, and the character apparently has close ties to the Queen family. Now, with production on season four well underway, the character has been cast. SUPERGIRL Soars in New Poster for CBS Series
As we draw closer to the series premiere of Supergirl, CBS (via Entertainment Weekly) has unveiled the official poster for the highly anticipated DC Comics adaptation. This one-sheet features Kara Zor-El, played by Melissa Benoist, taking to the skies, signaling the rise of a new hero in the form of Superman’s cousin. DC Comics Villain Baron Blitzkrieg Coming to ARROW This Season
With production on Arrow season four underway, we have news of another DC villain who will antagonize Oliver Queen. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Holby City actor Jimmy Akingbola is set to play Baron Reiter, aka Baron Blitzkrieg, a character who will appear in this season’s “prominent” flashback sequences. This will be a recurring role. In the comics, Blitzkrieg, who fought the All-Star Squadron during World War II, is the leader of the crime group known as Shadowspire. It is unknown if that organization will appear on Arrow. Also, Blitzkrieg is known for wearing Nazi symbolism on his uniform. But for obvious reasons, don’t expect that to be present in his…

New Details on Reactron’s Presence in SUPERGIRL
At Comic-Con, it was announced that one of the first villains Supergirl would encounter in the upcoming CBS series is Reactron. While we don’t know which actor will be playing this DC Universe foe, we do have some info on the show’s version of the character, as well as when we can expect to see him. According to TV Line, Reactron will make his debut in episode three of Supergirl, where he will be bringing a “whole world of hurt.” Described as a “nuclear-powered, exoskeletal chest-plated madman,” the villain has held a grudge against Superman for a long time. New Info on Hawkman’s Role in LEGENDS OF TOMORROW and How ARROW Leads Into the Series
It has been confirmed that the first few episodes of The Flash and Arrow this season will set up midseason spin-off DC’s Legends of Tomorrow. Now, executive producer Marc Guggenheim gives E! Online some elaboration on how this set up will be done. As expected, Sara Lance will undergo her transformation into White Canary early on in Arrow‘s fourth season. First Official Look at THE FLASH’s New Suit for Season Two
As expected, Barry Allen is getting a tweaked costume when The Flash returns for its second season. The CW has released a new promo image featuring the updated suit, and it features an addition comic book fans will like. The emblem now has a white background, rather than the initial red. That addition was first seen on the Future Flash’s suit during The Flash season one finale. The costume was also recently seen on display at San Diego Comic-Con. ARROW Producers Tease Season Four; Green Lantern Appearance “Unlikely”
The Hollywood Reporter recently spoke with the cast and crew of Arrow, regarding what to expect from the show’s fourth season. First up, executive producer Marc Guggenheim would not confirm or deny if the Birds of Prey would be forming. The show has already introduced members such as Black Canary, Huntress and Katana, making this a fair possibility.
