After evading rumors and questions about the role for about a year, Jason Momoa was finally announced as the actor who will bring Aquaman to life in the DC Cinematic Universe. He makes his debut as the King of Atlantis in next year’s Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, and he will have a larger role in 2017’s Justice League Part One before starring in 2018’s Aquaman standalone film.
