The CW Announces Dates for 2018’s Arrowverse Crossover
This year’s Arrowverse crossover will be a bit smaller than usual. The event will introduce Ruby Rose’s Batwoman into the universe, with plans to spin her off into her own series. The three core shows – Arrow, The Flash, and Supergirl – will be involved, while Legends of Tomorrow won’t take any part. Now, we know when the crossover will air. The CW has announced that the Batwoman crossover will begin on Sunday, December 9th at 8 PM EST with a new episode of The Flash. STAR WARS RESISTANCE Trailer and Premiere Date Revealed
With Star Wars Rebels finished and a seventh season of The Clone Wars not out until next year, Disney is moving forward with a new animated series. Star Wars Resistance takes place a few years before The Force Awakens, and it centers on a new Resistance pilot who spies on the First Order. Poe Dameron, Captain Phasma, Leia Organa, and other characters are expected to appear. Today, Disney released the first trailer for the series. Full Trailer for IRON FIST Season 2 Released
We’ve seen a couple of brief teasers, but now, Netflix has released the full trailer for Marvel’s Iron Fist season two. The trailer focuses on Danny Rand’s new mission to defend New York City, in the wake of Daredevil’s “death” in The Defenders. It also emphasizes on Danny’s rivalry with Davos, who has embraced his comic book destiny of becoming the Steel Serpent. DC’s Birds of Prey movie is currently casting several fan-favorite characters, including Black Canary. Marvel Studios Announces 10th Anniversary IMAX Film Festival
Marvel Studios has been celebrating its 10th anniversary all year, releasing everything from new merch to home video re-releases to three new movies, including Avengers: Infinity War. Now, the celebration continues, and this news is for those who want to marathon the entire Marvel Cinematic Universe. Marvel has announced that all 20 MCU movies will return to theaters for IMAX’s 10th Anniversary Film Festival. The festival begins on August 30th and runs until September 6th in the United States and Canada. First Look at THE FLASH’s New Suit for Season 5
The Flash has tweaked Barry’s suit throughout its run, most significantly in season four. The season five trailer teased a new costume, along with the arrival of the Flash ring. Now, we have a first look at the suit. The CW has released a new poster for The Flash, showing off Barry’s latest outfit. It looks very different from past suits, most notably with the lack of a chinstrap. It also looks to be ditching the all-leather suit, as well as the zipper in front.
