Warner Bros. has released the first clip from the upcoming animated movie Justice League: War, which is based on the New 52 “Origin” arc. The story sees the formation of the Justice League, as a group of heroes unite to take on Darkseid (Steve Blum) and his Parademon army. In the clip, Green Lantern (Justin Kirk) battles a Parademon, with the latter having the upper hand until Batman (Jason O’Mara) intervenes. General Motors is reportedly building the new Batmobile for Batman vs. Superman at the GM Advanced Design Studio. The vehicle is rumored to be influenced by an “old Cadillac”. We now have an update on filming for the hotly anticipated film concerning the Batmobile. According to Batman-On-Film, despite production officially kicking off next month, vehicle chase scenes will not be shot on location until the summer. Another new still from the upcoming animated movie Justice League: War has been released. Via @SuperPRGuy, the latest image from the New 52 adaptation features Batman (Jason O’Mara) holding Hal Jordan’s (Justin Kirk) Green Lantern ring. These two characters are the first to team up in Geoff Johns and Jim Lee’s “Origin” Justice League arc, which is the basis of this movie’s plot. Set to be released February 4th, Justice League: War also features the voice talents of Alan Tudyk as Superman, Michelle Monaghan as Wonder Woman, Christopher Gorham as The Flash, Sean Astin as Shazam, George Newbern as Steve Trevor, and Steve Blum as Darkseid.

Before Ben Affleck was cast as the Dark Knight in Batman vs. Superman, one of the actors reportedly up for the role was Scott Adkins. The British actor-martial artist posted on his Twitter account several days before the Batfleck announcement, saying that he was approached to audition for Batman.
