A couple months ago, it was reported that Mark Strong was in negotiations to join New Line’s Shazam as the villain, Doctor Sivana. 20th Century Fox just shook up the release schedule for its X-Men slate, moving up one movie and pushing back two more. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Deadpool 2 has been moved up from June 1st to May 18th of this year. Over the years, Fox’s Gambit movie starring Channing Tatum has struggled to keep a director. Rupert Wyatt and Doug Liman were both attached before dropping out.
