SUICIDE SQUAD Stills Officially Released; David Ayer Explains How Film is “Comic Book Movie 2.0”
After scanned versions were revealed earlier this week, Empire Magazine has officially released some of the new Suicide Squad stills online. The images feature characters such as Harley Quinn, Killer Croc, Amanda Waller and, of course, The Joker. Check them out below. Additionally, writer-director David Ayer spoke with Empire (via CBM) about how Suicide Squad stands out from the rest of the comic book movie genre. GOTHAM Finds its Mr. Freeze While SUPERGIRL Casts the Real Toyman
We have a couple of casting bits for two of DC’s television shows. First off, Gotham has finally cast its future Mr. Freeze. According to TV Line, House of Cards alum Nathan Darrow is set to play Victor Fries, who will one day become one of Batman’s most iconic villains. Fries will be a recurring role; his first episode airs on November 30th, while episodes 12 and 13 will tell a “heavy” story for him. Chris Pine Confirms Role in WONDER WOMAN Movie and Shares Excitement

GOTHAM Review: Rise of the Villains; By Fire
Warning: This review contains spoilers Let me start off by saying this was a great episode. With Butch infiltrating Galavan’s crew, Penguin can now finally save his mother. The whole set up was entertaining. Of course Galavan did not believe, and he gave Butch a mallet as his new hand. Butch is an interesting character to watch this season. After the programing Penguin gave him last season, you get the feeling that one day he is going to snap and get revenge. Also Bruce was used very well this week.We see him training with Alfred in the cave, and having dinner with the Galavan family.
