Of course, the film would later be moved to May 2016, in order to give the creative team more time to make the best movie possible, before moving up a few weeks to March 2016. After some speculation and rumors, the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice Comic-Con trailer confirmed that Michael Shannon’s General Zod – or, at least, his body – will return in the Man of Steel follow-up. There have been various rumors regarding how Zod factors into the film’s storyline, but Shannon has shared an intriguing hint when recounting a humorous incident on set. Michael Wilkinson Again Discusses Designing the Costumes of BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE
In an interview with People’s Choice, costume designer Michael Wilkinson once again talks about the process of creating the suits for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. He worked on the costumes for Superman, Batman, Wonder Woman and Aquaman, among others. Wilkinson describes this process as going out of his comfort zone, but he sounds very proud to have been a part of it. DC Movie Bits: SUICIDE SQUAD Shooting Script, New Gal Gadot Interview, Armie Hammer Would’ve Been a “Terrible” Batman
There are only a few weeks of shooting left on Suicide Squad, and then it’s off to the post-production phase. Director David Ayer has been posting little teases on his Twitter account from the film’s set for the past few months, and yesterday, he offered another glimpse. Ayer tweeted an image of the film’s shooting script, and it is in a case with the Arkham Asylum logo on it. New BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT Trailer Shows Off the 1989 Batmobile
With the new 1989 Movie Batmobile Pack releasing today, Rocksteady has released an all-new DLC trailer showcasing the August bundle. Note: mild spoilers for the game’s story mode. As you can see in the trailer, the Tumbler is the next Batmobile to be released as a DLC! Rocksteady has added two of the most iconic Batmobiles of all-time. With the Dark Knight Trilogy and Burton cars making the cut one can only hope that they will add the ’66 TV Batmobile or the Animated Batmobile. Supergirl casting news for your Monday evening. This time it’s not a super-powered hero or villain but rather a boy who has the chance to befriend Kara. So, who better to befriend Supergirl than Peter Pan? Meet twelve year old, Levi Miller. Hailing from Brisbane, Australia, Levi will make his feature film debut later this year as the title character in Joe Wright’s Pan, which was produced by Supergirl EP, Greg Berlanti. Female Version of Firefly Coming to GOTHAM Season Two
The latest Batman villain who will be introduced on Gotham is Firefly, who will have a multi-episode arc in the show’s second season this fall. According to TV Line, the series has cast this role – but there’s a very interesting twist. While both versions of Firefly in the comics – Garfield Lynns and Ted Carson – were male, Gotham‘s will be a female, with Those Who Kill actress Michelle Veintimilla landing the role. She will be playing Bridgit Pike in episodes five and six of the season.
