Warner Bros. and DC’s Suicide Squad has been shooting in Toronto for the past few months, With production looking to conclude next month, we have an update on another location where some filming will take place. According to Chicago Tribune (via Batman-News), filming for Suicide Squad will occur in Chicago on Friday, August 7th and Saturday, August 8th. However, don’t expect to see any cast members to appear on set; this shoot will only film the city’s skyline and river areas via a helicopter. This week, popular YouTube channel Fine Bros. released a new installment of “Elders React,” which brings several elders together to watch and react to certain videos. In this episode, they watch the new trailer for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice, which was released earlier this month and has since passed 40M views on YouTube. This week’s issue of Empire Magazine, which is now available in stores and online, featured plenty of new images and details for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. We saw those images recently in scanned quality, but thanks to Coming Soon, we have some much clear, higher quality versions. Again, these stills feature everything from Superman confronting Batman and the Daily Planet crew together to new looks at Alfred Pennyworth and Diana Prince. During the Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice coverage in this week’s Empire Magazine, we received some production updates for the next three DC Comics films. As previously reported, Suicide Squad will finish filming in September. That movie will hit theaters on August 5th, 2016.
