This week saw the announcement of several new additions to the cast of Gotham, but one role in Fox’s Batman prequel TV show that has yet to be filled is young Bruce Wayne. In the meantime, we have new details on the series’ depiction of the future Dark Knight. To the surprise of very few (if any), Arrow has officially been renewed for its third season. The CW has announced that the hit DC Comics series has been picked up early for its 2014-2015 schedule, alongside renewed shows such as Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, and Reign. We have more casting news for Fox’s Gotham series, and it confirms a previous rumor. It has been announced that Sons of Anarchy actor Donal Logue will play Detective Harvey Bullock on the Batman prequel show. The character is described as “Jim Gordon’s partner and mentor, a rough-around-the-edges cop who plays loose with police procedure — but he gets results with his old-school, forceful panache.” Ben McKenzie will play Det. John Wesley Shipp is best known for playing Barry Allen in the 1990s television series The Flash. Labs’ Harrison Wells in the Arrow spin-off.
