Today, Warner Bros. Pictures has released the first trailer (via USA Today) for Teen Titans GO! to the Movies, a big screen spinoff from the hit animated series. In the film, the Titans want to star in their own movie, like all the other superheroes. Along the way, they get into their usual zany adventures. The teaser trailer makes a couple meta references to DC’s movies, while it includes an overlong fart joke – everyone’s favorite style of humor. At the Television Critics Association (TCA) winter tour, SyFy showed off its upcoming series Krypton. During the panel, the network released a new trailer for the show, which explores Krypton’s past two generations before the birth of Superman. The trailer gives a first look at Adam Strange, who informs Seg-El of his grandson’s legacy and warns him about the arrival of an enemy from their future. Additionally, KryptonSite shared a few highlights from the TCA panel, offering even more new details on the show. Despite its pending acquisition by Disney, Fox is still moving forward with multiple Marvel projects. Three X-Men related films are coming this year, with Gambit arriving next year. Marvel Television has put out countless shows in recent years, primarily based at ABC and Netflix. A couple months ago, the studio went to Hulu for an adaptation of Runaways. The show, which premieres its season one finale this week, has earned positive reviews from fans and critics. Now, the story is confirmed to continue. Marvel has announced that Hulu has renewed Runaways for a second season. The season will consist of 13 episodes, which is three more than the first season’s 10-episode order. ABC’s Agents of S.H.I.E.L.D. is currently in its fifth season, while the network aired another Marvel show, Inhumans, last fall. Neither show has been officially renewed for next season, but now, ABC’s entertainment chief has addressed the possibility. Appearing at the Television Critics Association (TCA) tour, Channing Dungey spoke with TV Line and other reporters about the fate of ABC’s Marvel shows. It’s been a little while since we’ve last heard an update on The Batman. Writer-director Matt Reeves has said that he’s doing his own story, where he hopes to explore Batman’s detective skills and more.
