The Batman prequel series has brought Jada Pinkett Smith (Madagascar, The Matrix sequels) on board as gangster boss Fish Mooney. The character is described as “a sadistic gangster boss and nightclub owner. Wielding street smarts and the almost extra-sensory ability to read people, Fish is imposing and hotheaded — and not one to be crossed.” She is the employer of psychopath Oswald Cobblepot, who will be played Robin Lord Taylor. To the surprise of very few (if any), Arrow has officially been renewed for its third season. The CW has announced that the hit DC Comics series has been picked up early for its 2014-2015 schedule, alongside renewed shows such as Supernatural, The Vampire Diaries, and Reign.
