FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 5×15- “King Shark vs Gorilla Grodd”
The Flash (5×15)- “King Shark vs Gorilla Grodd” Written by: Eric Wallace & Lauren Certo Directed by: Stefan Pleszczynski Let’s get this out of the way right off the bat: This was another filler episode. However, we should all be aware of that by now considering the cost prohibitive nature of Gorilla Grodd episodes. A CGI Gorilla just can’t be a big part of this series with the budget restraints of having this show on the CW, no matter how much I’d like him to be. But I have to give credit to the producers; every time they bring Grodd in it’s as a big deal. They also do a…

The most important thing to know about "Ocean to Ocean" is that "Ocean to Ocean" is not a song: "Ocean to Ocean" is freedom.

ARROW Will End with Season 8 This Fall
The CW launched a new era in 2012 with the premiere of Arrow, a new take on DC’s Green Arrow lore. The show is currently in its seventh season. Along the way, it has spawned an entire “Arrowverse” of other shows – The Flash, Supergirl, and Legends of Tomorrow. That’s not counting multiple animated spinoffs and crossover events. But, alas, all good things must come to an end. The CW has confirmed that Arrow will be ending this fall, with its previously announced eighth season. The final season will run for an abbreviated 10 episodes. This is much shorter than the usual 23 episodes per season. Showrunner Beth Schwartz and…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 5×14- “Cause and XS”
The Flash (5×14)- “Cause and XS” Written by: Todd Helbing & Jeff Hersh Directed by: Rachel Talalay With new episodes coming up this week, I better take time out of my busy schedule to review the last episode. Cause and XS! continues this strange Flash tradition of putting out holiday episodes a week after the holiday… This time they’re celebrating Groundhog’s Day not with a prognosticating rodent but with a time loop. Of course, the time loop isn’t just a staple of Bill Murray movies. It’s a sci-fi staple going way back with shows like Star Trek: The Next Generation, Stargate SG-1 and Buffy the Vampire Slayer all throwing their…

It’s been unknown how many characters from the first film will return. But now, we know one who will not be back. Review: DOOM PATROL “Pilot”
“In the series premiere episode, the team – tired of being stuck in Doom Manor – decides to visit the local town while The Chief is away. However, this seemingly harmless field trip leads to some grave consequences, including an encounter with the mysterious and powerful Mr. Nobody (series star Alan Tudyk)” official synopsis – Doom Patrol “Pilot” Hot dang. That’s a way to start a show. The End (Just Kidding) Doom Patrol “Pilot” starts the series off right. The beginning team as it starts is Niles Caulder/The Chief (Timothy Dalton), Larry Trainor/Negative Man (Matt Bomer/Matthew Zuk), Cliff Steele/Robotman (Brendan Fraser/Riley Shanahan), Rita Farr/Elasti-Woman (April Bowlby), and Kay Challis/Crazy Jane(Diane Guerrero). The next animated Batman movie has been announced, but this one is a big deal. Here, the Dark Knight will finally meet the Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. Warner Bros. Animation, DC Entertainment, and Nickelodeon are teaming up for the crossover we all wanted: Batman vs. Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles. The film is based on the 2015 comic book series Batman/Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles, which has spawned two more crossovers. In the movie, Batman and the Heroes in a Half-Shell will team up to take on the former’s iconic rogues gallery.
