Let’s cut to the chase, we have ourselves a very interesting theme for this week’s episode: Characters being manipulated into doing something ill-advised through the manipulation of their egos: Even though the episode is named after another plotline, the big story of this week’s episode is that Sherloque is on the brink of discovering that Nora came back from the future to stop Cicada. FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 5×12- “Memorabilia”
The Flash (5×12)- “Memorabilia” Written by: Sam Chalsen & Kristen Kim Directed by: Rebecca Johnson So we go from an episode with a title that plays on a popular film series to one that is nearly a triple entendre (Seeing Red because the Flash wears red, it’s slang for going mad with rage and a nod to the Emotional Spectrum) to an episode that when doing a title search tricks you into looking at Flash March. These people are sneaky. We open with Nora explaining to Eobard (and the audience via Voiceover) the mounting frustration she feels hiding whatever she and he are trying to accomplish with her trek through…

Ben Affleck – The Batman We Deserved
I have been an avid Batman-fan since the 1990’s. I remember watching Batman: The Animated Series and it’s subsequent spin-offs. There was really no live-action incarnation of the Caped Crusader that matched what I experienced on that show. It was a perfect blend of action, detective-stuff and pretty mature (for the time) drama. Then along came the (Joel) Schumacher-era of Batman movies; they ranged from okay to absolute garbage. Then we had the Nolan-era with Batman Begins, The Dark Knight and The Dark Knight Rises. And even though Christopher Nolan took more of a, lets say grounded and realistic approach. It was missing some of the more fantastical elements from…

The CW Renews All Five DC Shows and RIVERDALE
The CW has announced its early renewals for the 2019-2020 television season. Unsurprisingly, all of the network’s biggest hits – including every single DC show – will be back for new seasons in the fall. Arrow will return for an eighth season. The Flash will be back for a sixth season. Supergirl and DC’s Legends of Tomorrow are heading to their fifth seasons. Black Lightning‘s back for a third season. Riverdale will return for a fourth season. All six of these shows have been among The CW’s biggest successes, so there was little doubt that they’d be renewed. Additionally, this fall will see the Crisis on Infinite Earths crossover, which…
