James Gunn to Direct SUICIDE SQUAD 2; Scheduled for a 2021 Release
Director James Gunn (Guardians of the Galaxy) was already writing the script for Suicide Squad 2, but now it looks like he’s getting back into the director’s chair. According to The Hollywood Reporter, Gunn will write and direct the Suicide Squad sequel. After the financial success and the mixed critical reception of the first film, Warner Bros. decided to change things up. Just this morning we got news that director Matt Reeves (War for the Planet of the Apes), is moving forward with his next film, The Batman. Now, he has to find an actor to don the cape and cowl.
