Patty Jenkins Teases Plans for Third WONDER WOMAN Movie
Director Patty Jenkins delivered Wonder Woman to massive success in 2017, and Warner Bros. quickly signed her on to take the helm of the sequel. Diana Prince’s story continues next year in Wonder Woman 1984, but after that? Turns out Jenkins already has some ideas. In an interview with Vanity Fair, Jenkins confirms that she has “pretty clear plans” for a third Wonder Woman movie. “I have pretty clear plans for Wonder Woman 3. Whether I [direct] it or not, I see how her arc should end in my incarnation of Wonder Woman. I have great passion for that.” Wonder Woman was a huge hit, kicking off a new franchise for WB. Assuming…

THE FLASH SPOILER Review: S5 E6- “The Icicle Cometh”
The Flash S5 E6- “The Icicle Cometh” Written by: Kristen Kim & Joshua V Gilbert Directed by: Chris Peppe Watching this episode I realized a few things; One: I must have watched this episode when I first came back from Japan to catch up because this was the déjà vu hour. Two: Not a lot happened because I actually smashed most of what happened in this episode in the following episode. Three: It’s time to put a name to episodes like this because while not a whole lot happened a lot of plot points for the overall season were kind of brought closer to the surface. First there was Caitlin…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 5×10- “The Flash and the Furious”
The Flash (5×10)- “The Flash and the Furious” Written by: Kelly Wheeler & Sterling Gates Directed by: David McWhirter Alright! The second half of Season five kicks off with a title I am genuinely surprised they didn’t use earlier. (It’s like how both the Bruce Timm Batman cartoon and “The Batman” reworked Batman film titles for Batgirl episodes, you just know the next Batman cartoon will have an episode called “Batgirl v Superman” at some point.) The episode opens pretty much where we left off in the 100th episode with Nora in the future talking with Eobard Thawne still looking like Wells. (They’ll have to explain that soon enough.) We…

Warner Bros. Reaffirms Emphasis on DC Solo Films After AQUAMAN’s Success
With Warner Bros.’ DC Films receiving mixed results critically and financially over the years, the studio has re-evaluated its approach…at least several times. Most recently, WB committed to emphasizing on solo films driven by directors, rather than big team movies. While these movies take place in the same universe, there won’t be an overarching story, like the Infinity Gauntlet arc in the Marvel Cinematic Universe. And it’s an approach that has worked so far. Wonder Woman earned rave reviews and remains DC Films’ biggest movie domestically. And Aquaman has gone on to make over $1 billion worldwide. Even Man of Steel, which polarized fans, was better received critically than Batman…

FLASH SPOILER Review: Episode 5×05- “All Doll’d Up”
The Flash (5×05)- “All Doll’d Up” Written by: Tony Pound & Sterling Gates Directed by: Philip Chipera Well what a time. I’ve been without a computer for pretty much the whole winter break and without a computer I can’t write reviews. (I have a phone but I’m not tapping out a review on that with my old man hands.) So, in short my big plan to clean up the episodes I missed was pretty much nuked and it’s scramble time. Anyways… For once those “Previously on the Flash…” Montages helped me out to remind of exactly what’s been going on going into this episode because I wasn’t watching too closely…

Following Reign of the Supermen, DC is bringing in Justice League vs. The Fatal Five, which pits the superhero team against an obscure group of supervillains. The animated film’s voice cast has been announced, and there are plenty of familiar faces….er, voices. Kevin Conroy, George Newbern, and Susan Eisenberg reprise their roles as Batman, Superman, and Wonder Woman. Next up, Doom Patrol star Diane Guerrero will play Green Lantern Jessica Cruz. The Fatal Five consists of Peter Jessop as Thorak, Tom Kenny as Bloodsport, Matthew Yang King as…
