IRON FIST, KRYPTON and LUCIFER Are Returning to San Diego Comic-Con 2018
We’re a month away from this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. This week, we have confirmation of three shows making their presence known at the convention. According to Deadline, Marvel and Netflix are bringing Iron Fist to SDCC. Star Finn Jones will show up alongside other cast members and producers to discuss the show’s second season, which is scheduled to arrive sometime this year. There is also talk of bringing Daredevil and The Punisher to the panel; the former just wrapped production on its third season, while the latter is shooting its second. DC Universe’s Titans is finally wrapping production soon, but before that, we have a breakdown for one more character, courtesy of That Hashtag Show. According to the site, the show is looking to cast a character with codenamed David, a 20-something male with dark hair. David is described as a powerful and merciless individual, and he is kept as a prisoner in a mysterious lab. David would have a guest starring role in the show’s 13th episode (aka season finale), but has the option to be a series regular for future seasons. IRON FIST Season 2 Will Arrive This Year
Production recently wrapped on Iron Fist‘s second season. While a lot of details are still under wraps, it looks like the new season will be out sooner than expected. During a Reddit AMA, Marvel television head Jeph Loeb confirmed that Iron Fist season two is “coming this year.” Netflix has already released Jessica Jones season two this year, with Luke Cage‘s second season arriving later this month. And while a date isn’t confirmed yet, it was announced previously that Daredevil season three is also coming this year. IRON FIST Shaking Up Showrunners for Season 2
The first season of Iron Fist was underwhelming and not up-to-par with Netflix’s other three Marvel dramas for a good majority of fans and critics. However, Netflix renewed the show starring Game of Thrones’ Finn Jones for a second season yesterday. And with the new season comes a new showrunner. Marvel TV Bringing THE DEFENDERS, INHUMANS and More to San Diego Comic-Con 2017
Studios are now in the process of finalizing and announcing their plans at this year’s San Diego Comic-Con. Today, it’s Marvel Television’s turn. Marvel’s TV division is bringing a fully party to the convention, as ABC’s Inhumans, Netflix’s The Defenders, and X-Men-based shows Legion and The Gifted will make their presence known.
