Ryan Potter Joins TITANS as Beast Boy
The Titans cast is (probably) fully formed. DC has announced that Ryan Potter (Big Hero 6) will play Beast Boy in the upcoming Titans series. The 22-year-old will be the first to bring Garfield Logan to life in live action. Beast Boy is a main character in Titans lore and should be a major player in the series. Spoiler Recap: ARROW Episode 6×1 “Fallout”
In the season premiere, we finally get to see the fallout of what happened in last years finale. The show starts off in present day with Team Arrow on a mission, as usual. The opening was fantastic and the action was amazing. Each moment slowly reveals one character after another, and then you realize that no one important is dead. The reveal was nice and I’m glad the gang is back together, but I can’t help but like it cheapens the finale. Only two characters were seriously affected by the incident. BATMAN: THE ANIMATED SERIES is Finally Coming to Blu-Ray
The wait is finally over! During New York Comic-Con it was announced that Batman: The Animated Series will get a Blu Ray release in 2018! It was revealed during show’s 25th-anniversary panel. Warner Bros. representative Gary Miereanu dropped the bombshell while giving away a DVD collection of the show, saying it’ll be the last one he hands out because a remastered Blu-Ray is scheduled to release later in 2018. As of now, we don’t know if the Blu-Ray will use the same four volumes format like the DVDs or if it will be one box set. We also don’t know if it will be in 4K Ultra HD as well as Blu-Ray. Batman:…

SHAZAM! to Cast the Marvel Family?
Shazam! is currently constructing their main cast. They’re already looking for someone to play their lead hero, but now That Hashtag Show is reporting that they’re also looking cast four additional members of the Shazam Family. Our friends at Omega Underground released an audition tape for the film and believe that it’s for the character Freddy Freeman – Billy Batson’s best friend. That Hashtag Show is adding that not only is Freddy Freeman in the film but three others as well. The studio is looking for children to play “Daniel”, “Carlos”, and “Suzy”. GAMBIT Lands a Director (Again)
It looks like Gambit will live to fight another day. The film has been in development hell and has struggled to keep anyone not named Channing Tatum attached to the project. Well, Deadline is reporting that Gore Verbinski (A Cure for Wellness) will direct the film, and Tatum is still signed on to star. Previously, the film had Doug Liman (American Made) and Rupert Wyatt (Rise of the Planet of the Apes) attached to direct, but both eventually dropped out.
