Latest SUICIDE SQUAD Tracking Predicts an Even Higher Opening Weekend
A few weeks ago, initial tracking for Suicide Squad suggested that the film was on course for a $125 million+ opening weekend. This would give it the highest August opening in history. Now, with the film hitting theaters this weekend, some updated tracking suggests that an even bigger debut is imminent. According to The Wrap, Suicide Squad is now on track to earn somewhere between $130 million and $140 million this weekend. It could even beat Finding Dory‘s $135 million debut, which would give the DC movie the third highest opening weekend of the year. But that’s finally about to change with Suicide Squad next week. Comic Book has confirmed that Suicide Squad will have an extra scene in the middle of the credits. The scene is described as “pivotal and important.” No further details…
