This past summer, DC Collectibles revealed three statues from Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. One is of Superman, one is of Batman, and one is of Batman’s mech armor suit. Inevitably, another statue in this line is of Wonder Woman. And today, we have our first look at the latest figure. Via Yahoo! Movies, DC has unveiled the Wonder Woman statue from the Batman v Superman series. Made in Gal Gadot’s likeness, the statue was designed by James Marsano. BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Officially Gets its PG-13 Rating
In the most unsurprising news of the day, Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice has received a PG-13 rating. Today, MPAA has released its ratings for several different movies, including the Zack Snyder-directed superhero epic. According to the company, Batman v Superman will be rated PG-13 for “intense sequences of violence and action throughout, and some sensuality.” Pretty much every superhero movie in recent years has been rated PG-13 for “intense sequences of violence and action throughout,” so that is not a shocker at all. Some sensuality, though? Hmm… But another thing the rating tells us is that the final cut for Batman v Superman is pretty much done –…

THE DARK KNIGHT Batsuit is Coming to BATMAN: ARKHAM KNIGHT
Recently, Rocksteady released a Batman: Arkham Knight DLC featuring the Tumbler, the Batmobile used in The Dark Knight Trilogy. After much demand from fans, the studio confirmed that a Batsuit from the acclaimed movie saga would also be available on the game. This follows the 1989 Batman DLC, which included both the costume and the Batmobile from that film. Rocksteady co-founder Sefton Hill polled fans regarding which suit should be used, the Batman Begins one or The Dark Knight/The Dark Knight Rises one. And now, we have a winner. Today, Hill has confirmed that Rocksteady will release a Batman skin based on The Dark Knight. However, don’t expect it to…

VEEP Alum DeMark Thompson Also Wants to Play the Next Green Lantern
Warner Bros. is set to introduce a new Green Lantern – or several – in the DC Extended Universe. The character will make his debut in 2017’s Justice League Part One and/or 2019’s Justice League Part Two, before going on to star in 2020’s Green Lantern Corps. Naturally, while we wait for the studio to make an official casting announcement, many actors have been campaigning for the highly coveted role. Tyrese Gibson launched a social media campaign to play John Stewart, and he was then joined by Lance Gross. Meanwhile, Idris Elba, who has long been the fan-favorite choice, entertained the idea a couple years ago. And now, another actor has…

Rumored Details on Release of Next BATMAN V SUPERMAN: DAWN OF JUSTICE Trailer(s)
So far, Warner Bros. has released two trailers for Batman v Superman: Dawn of Justice. A two-minute teaser debuted in April, while a nearly four minute trailer premiered at Comic-Con. It has been widely expected that the studio would release at least one more trailer closer to the film’s release. And now, a new rumor suggests that not one, not two, but three more trailers are on the way. According to Heroic Hollywood – whose founder, El Mayimbe, initially broke the IMAX screenings news for the teaser trailer earlier this year – rumor has it that WB is planning on premiering two teaser trailers on live television on Monday, October…

Jason Momoa Hints at Some Classic Colors for His AQUAMAN Suit
While Jason Momoa’s Aquaman look is great, a few fans were disappointed that it wasn’t closer to the classic orange-and-green suit from the comics. Momoa’s Aquaman is clearly inspired by Peter David’s iteration – who was also shirtless and had long hair – but a straight-up adaptation of the more iconic one would have been interesting. But now, Momoa has hinted that those familiar colors may be present in his costume. Speaking with The Robot’s Voice, Momoa was asked if there will be any orange and green on his Aquaman uniform, and he suggests that there “might” be. “Well, there might be some bit of orange and green. A bit…

WONDER WOMAN Scribe Jason Fuchs Discusses Working on the DC Extended Universe
Last year, Pan screenwriter Jason Fuchs was reportedly hired to write one of several competing scripts for Wonder Woman, with his apparently being the winner. Now, the scribe has spoken with Collider about his involvement with the film, which finally begins shooting in November. Fuchs remains coy on whether or not he is actually involved with Wonder Woman, but his comments strongly suggest that he is. But whether or not he will be the only credited screenwriter on the movie remains to be seen. “Warners has been very kind to me, I have to say,” Fuchs states, before going on to share his thoughts on the DC Extended Universe as…

First Look at Red Tornado in SUPERGIRL
Red Tornado will finally make his live action debut in CBS’s Supergirl series, and today, the network has released a first look at the character. The fan-favorite DC hero is played by actor Iddo Goldberg, who also plays the droid’s creator, Doctor T.O. Morrow. In the comics, Red Tornado usually looks a lot like Marvel’s The Vision, particularly regarding their similar faces and the fact that they are both androids. This comparison is evident in live action too, as Supergirl‘s Red Tornado looks very similar to Avengers: Age of Ultron‘s Vision. Personally, I’m not a huge fan of the character design here, but I hope actual footage will change my…
